    Default c[_] JAVA HUT ~ week of 3/25/12 to 3/31/12 c[_]

No one opened this yet so I thought I would.

WOW can you believe the year is almost one fourth over already?

Still waiting on the CT people to actually DO what companies should and either say "yes please or no thank you" so we can know for certain. In my opinion just bad business to be wishy washy.

Have to wait on my doctor and then the end of tax season and if it fits hubby's schedule and etc etc etc to see if anything will be done to figure out what may be going on. Seriously when your doctor says one thing and the nurse tells you her notes say something entirely different....hmmmmmm you just have to wonder.

I have been working hard on these forums the past few days trying to make things easier for me to manage so that maybe I can actually add the many things that may help. So many areas are not even being used. Come on now everyone where are all of those deals you keep finding everywhere? POST POST POST

We go back into the working going to schoole routine Tuesday after have a nice week off even though I did not get as much done as I wanted.....hmmm just didn't "feel" up to it. Also since this hurting is messing with my sleep, I am just not going to like getting up earlier.......best sleep for me this week has been between 6-9 am. Oh well who knows what will happen next.

I know until April 17th or a few days later I will be going and going. Then will have to get through school at the end of May. Then back to the travelling to see family and such over some of the Summer and the extra things to do then. Hmmmmmmm GO GO GO.

Now off to finish up someone's bath, dishes, laundry, and who knows what else........I'm hearing the lovely call of "Mommy" "Mommy"

    Blessings and Hugs, "Angel"

Litsa I agree with you on the deal posting. I haven't been doing much shopping of late but I really miss the CVS and Wags posts. I used to love when people posted their transactions so I could copy them but it seems like only the Indy people and bear post anything and I Dont have their stores. I have just been lazy the last few weeks and haven't done much couponing since I've been home. I just get better deals in CS so just buying the essentials. I've spent most of today reading in the bedroom avoiding DH. Lord knows I love that man but only he knows why. Sorry guys but some of you can be quite dense at times. Oh well this too shall pass. Have a good week all!

I agree about posting the deals. I haven't been as active in the stores for the last couple of months looking for them. I'll need to begin looking for them soon though. The deals and coupons just aren't what they used to be. I need to pay more attention to get the best deals to keep the stockpile full. I did find a deal today on first aid products and posted in another thread. Perfect timeing. DH has another patch of skin cancer that needs to be removed in April. We always need gauze, bandaids etc so I was pretty happy with the find.

Saw the cutest thing when we came home from shopping. One of the neighbors was moving their lawn on a riding mower. Her son was riding around on the lawn too. He had his own pint sized power version of her John Deer. He was about 4-5 yo and a pretty happy camper to be helping mommy. Wouldn't it be great if that eagerness to help lasted through the teenage years.

Didn't do too much today. Got papers, cliped but still need to file, made a publix and walmart run, put up a new storage rack in the garage. Yay this one wasn't defective and it was easy to put together. I did have good luck at Walmart. They price matched produce from Aldi. Still haven't made it to Aldi but at least I can get the great produce deals.

Hi all =D Sounds like I should start posting again as a deals of the month thread. I will restart it in April ok? Just been SO busy now that I am helping my friends coupon. I feel like I am in non-stop mode and am barely getting time to get my own deals done LOL. However they are fast learners. My coupon "virgin" friend just went to Safeway with me and I am so proud of how she is coming along. =D Earlier today we got her a case-it binder, baseball card inserts and full page protectors and tabs for her categories. We got her mostly set up. She even has printed lables so it looks professional =D We then formulated a plan, and went to safeway.

She did 2 transactions, one for $7.50 oop (2 digiorno dipping strips for $5 each minus a catalina for $2.50/2 that I had) and then another for 2 more dipping strips, a thing of carefree liners, 3 kotex liners, 6 grands biscuits, 6 farmer johns breakfast sausage, 2 bags salad express, 2 hillshire farms kielbasas and 2 boxes of stovetop apple stuffing we found on clearance. She paid a whopping $15.93 for that, and before she slid her savings cards or handed over a single coupon it was aroun $67.00. She is HOOKED!

On the DOWN side.. it sounds like Safeway at this store is getting tighter and tighter on their coupon policy. Yesterday I was told the policy was 3 like coupons doubled per day. Now its 3 like coupons ACCEPTED per day, period. Thats STUPID BUSINESS!!!!!

Morning ~ came on to couponmom yesterday morning, read a couple posts and Lilmama got up with the baby. We talked for a bit and then she had to get ready for work. My day quite literally started at 4:30 am (not just when I woke up), but he's being so fussy, can hardly lay him down for more than 15-30 minutes at a time. He's passing gas, he just can't go and the poor guy is in pain sometimes. I sit on the couch with my feet on the edge of the coffee table and place him on my thighs... he's somewhat upright and using his legs to push himself up which helps him pass gas and on saturday it helped him go but didn't work yesterday. She's gonna have to call her dr soon if this doesn't start clearing up. He's had a constipation issue for going on 2 weeks now.

Got my new fridge yesterday {{backflips }} threw out almost everything in it. Except for my Odouls, a bottle of Fre, some soda, and Parm cheese, LOL! Pretty much everything else went... Ugh! Lucky for me I had almost everything already to replace it except for Kraft marinades and those will come up on sale next month or the month after...

Found some decent deals in the ads at Meijer this week, I'll post later if I can remember, LOL! I haven't posted anything lately because I have no motivation for couponing right now. I'm quite literally scanning the deals 1/2 hour before I leave for the store which doesn't net many good scores, LOL~ Nerdy's thread about H&B stockpile is embarrassing for me. I have 1 deoderant, 0 for DH, 5 shampoo and 2 for DH and no conditioner, LOL! I really need to get on the ball, but I just don't wanna... HELP me. Strange thing is the past month or so, I've been doing a little research about CVS deals and Wags deals, still doesn't motivate me. The email from couponmom has me a little stoked, some good deals this week.

mnm'z--I'll throw this in since it looks like you have tried everything else for the baby. My DS starting having gas in his tummy a few weeks after he was born because he would drink and try to make noises and move around while eating and he was swallowing air. What type bottle is the baby drinking from? We finally switched to the playtex bottles (used the CVS liners) and I would squeeze the bottom of it to get all the air out before I fed him. His gas problem stopped immediately. We gave him regular bottles after he got old enough to hold them himself.

Not quite 100% certain, but the people from CT have finally made an offer. I believe we can "live" with it, but again I guess I will be "killing" myself to make sure we keep things as low as possible. There are many "good" perks, but yet again we are moving to another even more expensive place.

mnm'z I've been waiting to pipe in here as I hated everyone telling me what to do and with my circumstances many things could not be done. My old chiropractor in TN showed me how to massage her belly to help.......I've forgotten which way does what......clockwise or counterclockwise.......one helps with going the other helps to stop "messes" Also it could be possible that the formula your daughter is using is causing these problems with the baby. You may not like the cost, but she may need to be using another formula.

So who's coming to Florida to help me pack over the next couple of months and then who's meeting us in CT to help unpack and pack again......LONG story but I have a suspicion that we will be doing 2 moves in the next year.

shallen- sometimes it is really good to have a good cry when we need it...just last week I got to thinking about how I really wish my Mom was here in the flesh to enjoy her grandbabies and how I just NEED her sometimes....I bawled my eyes out for 10 mins But it helps to heal the soul a bit.

mnm'z-I agree with Litsa on the formula....is he on regular formula or anything special...DD2 was on Gerber Good start for 6 weeks before I found out she was allergic to it...she was gassy, cranky, and started spitting up a lil more than usual. Dr. had me try Enfamil Nutrimagen, worked like a beauty!

Ahhhh been super super busy....but it feels good, didn't do much yesterday except most of the laundry, otherwise lazed around in my room all day. Baby had 4mo. check-up today, she is doing well, can start rice cereal (whaaaaaaaaaaaa, my baby is growing too fast ) Got 2 shots, would have been 3 but one is on back order, she was not happy aferwards, sore leg and a bit cranky, she just wants to be snuggled , so I'm off to do that Hope everyone has a great day!

She was using Enfamil at first and he was fine, then because of q's and freebies she was using Similac Gentle Ease and that seems to get him upset... We also wondered if it was tap water so we picked up some drinking water today. But thanks to a couple of great gals here who sent Enfamil checks, we're back on the Enfamil ~ today was the first full day so we'll see how it goes. He does have a bm every couple of days and he does pass gas, so I don't really think it's a blockage or anything.

LITSA ~ a friend of ours was telling us how her daughter had issues and the PT had them massaging her tummy but I didn't pay attention... I guess I'll try to massage either way, I'll take anything (messy or not) right now. LOL!

My daughter had a big problem with her daughter and gassiness. She ended up with Similac for sensitive stomachs and my granddaughter does well with that. There is a medication called Mylanta for babies (in dropper form) or something like that which will help a lot with the gassiness. You can buy it over the counter. I would not use tap water for a little baby - it has chlorine and other stuff in it that could be upsetting to him. My daughter's dr. told her to find a formula baby could tolerate and then stick with that one.
