Default Let's Talk Shark Steam Mops

I really want a shark mop. I have noticed there are 3 kinds. the basic, the pocket mop, and the vacuum/mop in one. Please share your experiences and opinions on any/all.

Okay, I have a shark Vac then Steam and I LOVEEEEEEE it! It is the most costly of the three, but it has been fantastic with two large dogs and mostly wood and ceramic floors. My aunt has the basic steam mop. She loves hers. I just throw my cloth in with the rest of my laundry. I don't feel wasteful like I did when I used the Swiffer. I like the product so much, that I'm considering getting a Shark for my next regular vacuum. If mine broke tomorrow, I would buy another one in a heartbeat! Hope that helps.

I have the Shark Pocket Mop and I love it as well. I bought it at Goodwill as a Walmart salvage item, missing the triangle attachment, for $35. It is so quick and easy, although I do not think it gets the corners and edges as well as a regular mop so I still mop for deeper cleaning. I bought the Pocket Mop because I have a large area to clean (kitchen, dining room, and living room). The basic would probably do just fine for a kitchen only or if you had extra pads.

That being said, I also just bought a Libman Freedom Spray Mop and love it too. Just like a Swiffer but with reusable pads and a refillable bottle that you can use any solution in. I buy the Mrs Meyers Cleaner and just use a capful with water. It is even easier than the Shark. It was only $11 at a Kroger 50% off sale.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Shark pocket steam mop. I'm considering getting the vac/steam mop. I have mostly hardwood floors and linoleum. When I used it for the first time my floor lightened by several shades. I actually have fun moping now. I love how it is reusable, sanitary and uses no chemicals. Plus it gets it so much cleaner than my old mop. I used to use the swiffer wet jet. I registered for this when I got married and I actually took back several things so that I could have the credit to purchase this, it was well worth it. Since it never goes on sale, buy it at Bed, Bath and Beyond and use the 20% coupon.

Thank you. I saw it at Walmart for $129? On rollback for the vac/mop. I am totally getting this. I hate sweeping and mopping, swiffer and I have a love/hate relationship. I wanted to try that Libman freedom mop but thought it would be a sham like the swiffer, lol. Now I will try it.

Building a new home from scratch, absolutely nothing! Very excited. So far I got a $349 hard anodized cookware set from Macy's for around $100. Sadly I'll be losing my 20% employee discount when I put in my notice soon. I want to buy everything now but it could take up to 40 days for our household goods to arrive in Hawaii!

I have the Shark Steam Mop and LOVE it. I have 5 cats and I love that it cleans and sanitizes without chemicals, and no waste with the re-useable pad. I too throw the mop heads in the wash and then line dry. I got mine at Sam's club and it came with extra heads and mops. I have mostly hardwood and tile floors.

I am going to try to get the mop when I can. I bought the vac a few months ago and love it. I have a lot of fur in my house and omg it picks it up. A friend of mine says the steam mop is great. I want to get it when I have some extra money. I hate scrubbing tile grout!!!!

But for anyone who has pets, the vac is the best.

I've been wanting a steamer mop for some time and was just about to go pricing and looking at feedback for the Bissell, which has a $20 rebate going. But with the feedback here maybe I'll look at the Shark. I see on their site they have Steam Pocket for 159$ and include a portable steamer, which i was also in the market for. Thanks for posting this, I'm sure the feedback and pricing info will help me greatly
