Yesss! Two days in a row-- this is a short term record for me. Hi all, I'm going to get some baby chicks today if TSC still has Buff Orpingtons. Yay for babies! DH had his cousin stay over last night so they can do "man-stuff" today...so I'm on my own!

Morning all, been running around like a chicken with my head cut off since 530am this morning. Got my papers, came home, fed and distracted son so daddy could sleep, prepped for my freapy hunt at Frys (yes I spelled it FREAPY on purpose.. I am getting my Free Products FREAP on!).

Daddy got up and I took off: Frys was a fun run. Lots of good scores on Kraft products and on UP2U gum and Mentos, super cheap welches refrigerated juice too. Ended up spending only $13.75, saved $67.72 (83%) plus have $4 OYNO left for next time! Had alot of people cheering me on too, instead of dirty looks! What a great day =D I am sitting pretty at my HIGHEST overall savings to date this month, at 76% so far. The funny thing is that INCLUDES meat, veggies and fruit.. GOBS of it! I think I finally have figured out how to take it to the next level by actively pursuing catalina deals.

Oh btw, tried the kraft rosemary breadcrumbs on porkchops. The flavor of the topping mix is DIVINE.. but word of warning, get them thin cut or pound them into scallopinis. The meat to bread ratio on MY chops was waaaay off.

CQ...I don't have anything more than anyone else has. Alot of what I do is all in the attitude. An old saying "Whether you say you can or you can't, you're right" applies here. I grew up working on a farm. A good work ethic was part of something my parents taught all of us (I am the oldest of 7) so I was always made aware that , if you want something, you have to work for it. I advise reading "The Secret" and "The Power", both by Rhonda Byrne. The power of positive thinking is a strong force indeed. It quotes the bible as well as many scholars throughout history.

Everyone is given 24 hours in a day. Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Christopher Colombus, Thomas Edison...the list goes on. I am not comparing myself to any of these great people but the principle is the same. What you choose to do with your time is completely up to you. What you want to be or do is totally obtainable. If you make a bad decision, just make a better one next time. Don't blame people, circumstances, or geography for your situation. Just make a plan on where and what you want to be and start today to make it happen.

I think you underestimate yourself. You are a beautiful young lady with a beautiful family. Embrace that. Feeling you are "not up to status quo" only makes you feel worse and it spirals downward from there. Decide what is important and go for it. It doesn't have to be a "full court press". Maybe just looking into taking a college course (don't even sign up yet, just look), or working 1 extra hour and banking it for an emergency for peace of mind later. Small steps is all it takes. Once the momentum gets going, there's no stopping you.

Hi all...Hope everyone is doing well. Prayers for all who got hit with the tornadoes this week and the snow storms. Everything is well here. Had Sahleena (grandbaby #2) Over last night and her little brother is due to arrive anyday now. maybe tonight hope not cause I am tired lol Sweet Lips is doing well also.

Back in CS today. I have no idea how long I'll be here. I saw Danny's dentist back in November when I was here and I am having some oral surgery done tomorrow. My heart is palpitating already and my tummy is doing flip flops. I hate dental work. I have some follow up work to do on Danny's plan so I hope it won't be too bad. I could really use some dental insurance though:-/ I did a little wags and cvs shopping on my way out of town and I have to get back to cvs to finish a gc deal. I need about 12.00 to get the gc. Maybe I need to look at boost for this week lol. Hope you all have a great week!

Having a really good start to my week here. Trying to make the best of my time off that i have. Got my hard cast on my wrist/hand last Wednesday. Though id rather have it during winter than summer. I suffered a summer with a broken leg once, not fun with the sweat in the cast making it itch. I always carried a wire hanger with me .

Got to see Dad , the new nephew , and the rest of the family today. How i miss living closer . Ended up Fixing some of the snapper i caught today , so delicious. Worth breaking my wrist over. LOL I have about 15-17lbs of fillets in the freezer.

Im gonna try to get caught up on clipping coupons this week , if it doesnt hurt too much. I refuse to take pain meds. Ive seen waaaay too many people get hooked on their prescriptions. Though i did take musinex DM for the first time the other day , oddly made me feel like a cloud and i slept like a baby.

Shallen - I sure hope they're knocking you out. I hate the dentist. Only way ill go is if im knocked out. I cannot take the needle going down in my gum to hit the nerve to numb the whole side of my face. Best wishes.

M how is the grandbaby doing? He is a handsome little fellow..

He is, he is handsome. He's fine and growing like a weed. At his 3 week check up he'd gained almost 2# and 2¾"... he's growing too fast already! I'm going to see him today ~ After I clean the break room, I'm picking up mama and baby and we're going to my mom's to introduce her to her #20 Great Grandchild. Between the sickness here at my house and my mom's DR appts and mama's schedule, we haven't been there yet. My mom is, of course really excited to meet him.

Phil, my mom broke her ankle back in the early 70's (I should say smashed, lots of pins and screws), and she had a cast that went from her foot to her hip! For 6 months!!!! She used knitting needles for itching because they were nice and long but had a smooth tip.

oooh Phil...! Please be careful putting anything down your cast. The smallest scratch is an invitation for bacteria to get in and bacteria LOVES a dark, moist environment. You really don't need an infection on top of your broken bones. It can lead to all kinds of complications I won't go into here. I've had 2 broken arms and know the itching can get crazy but it's not worth getting something worse!
