My local Fry's has Jennie-O turkey on sale @ 47 cents/lb. My DH and I haven't done turkey in a few years, been doing ham (I know, strange).
My question is, do the turkeys drop in price as Thanksgiving nears, or will I see that 47 cents/lb jump up as soon as the weekly sale is over (tomorrow)? I appreciate your input! ![]() Elle UPDATED on page 2. Found an even lower price! Last edited by Elle; 11-11-2008 at 11:42 PM. |

I do a ham and a turkey, so ham is not strange to me
I haven't done t-day in about 5 years, so I don't remember about the prices and wanna know what others say lol

I usually buy a fresh turkey and it's more expensive but 47 cents is lower than we see around here (PA). We have two stores advertising now - 89 cents and 79 cents - don't know what WalMart is offering (I don't buy much from there).
That sounds like a very good price to me! Mary Ann |

I don't cook on TG anymore, I go to a nearby restaurant that does dinner for free...I just called 211 last night to verify my usual haunt is still doing it...
