Default Introductions

OMGOODNESSSSSSSSS I cannot believe y'all or you guys if you prefer.
(Yankee that was moved to the South in junior high.....I know them all.)

I get an area approved for you and in one day it's just busting. I am making this thread so that we can keep the introductions for new people who come by. ( I will also close them after each week so we can keep up with what's going on.)

So I guess I should do some type of introduction huh???

Hello from your friendly neighborhood moderator. I was born in Illinois, moved to Tennessee for the teenage years and then some, and now reside in the sunny state of Florida.....my poor baby will never know what snow is. I think I shocked Stephanie on my age as she thought I was almost 10 years younger than I am.....she guessed 30.

Anyway I tend to be very protective about most "personal information" because of the way things are in this world today. (FYI Litsa means "Angel" and that is why I always sign my posts etc "Angel")

I have a 22 month preemie baby girl.....who came after many losses and is quite the miracle with everything she's been through. For those of you who have either had miscarriages or babies in the NICU, it is quite amazing to see how well she is doing. ( I even asked her this week what happened to my one pound baby....she's getting sooo big.) Born at 26 weeks and only 1 pound 5.3 ounces and 12.5 inches long.....we have come a LONG way. Many of the parents in the NICU, we were there for 146 days, could not believe how I coped so well with her being there......my answer was always I got to meet this one. ( For those of you who have any faith system, God does things in His time and for His purpose.) Hoping to get established here in Florida so we can have at least one more. Way TMI to tell you all about that publicly.

I am married and have been since 1998 but we've been together a lot longer than that. We moved here to Florida for a job opportunity for my hubby. I mostly SAH but do have seasonal job and a part time job I am trying to transfer in addition to moderating here. (Yes that makes 3 jobs not including the whole domestic engineer one that I just cannot seem to get all done. Anyone want to come help me finish unpacking and setting up....it should only take another year or so.)

Blessings and Hugs, "Angel"

Default Yo

I live in Southern California (if you couldn't guess ). 36, on my 2nd (and LAST!!) marriage. Between the 2 of us we have a grand total of 5 (his, mine and ours kind of thing). 3 of them are teens (yay), 1 elementary age and 1 infant (he'll be 1 on the 11/12 and likes birthday presents, hint, hint )

I've been using couponmom.com for a year or so, but didn't know about the forum until September.

I talk a lot (as evidenced by my post count)

My DH and I play competitive pool (I am captain of the team, he's co-captain). I am a karaoke queen and have the t-shirt to prove it.

most important thing of all to remember about me is: I love bargains!!

Default Hi there

I'm 23 and hating it. Wish I was 18 again. I'll be 24 in December. Yikes!!

I started couponing a few years ago and been hooked ever since.

I live with my folks and do all the grocery shopping for 5 (including myself of course, grandmother brother and mother and father.

They are all picky eaters!! It can be difficult sometimes.

Anywho, I'm unemployed right now. Looking for the right job to suit my degree. Been praying every day to get the right job fit. I've applied at over 150 jobbies and maybe received 20 replies back.
Patience is a Virtue.

I have two birds. One is a Scarlet Macaw who is 5 years old and the other is an Amazon named Buddy who is 25. They both love apple juice and tearing apart toilet paper rolls.

I've been in a long distance relationship for 6 1/2 years. I.E. Why I have so much time on my hands.

That's pretty much me in a nutshell.

Default "I wanna talk about me" by Toby Keith lol

Hi ya'll. Its me, Inatenn. I am 41. I am in Tennessee, close to Nashville, home of the Country Stars. Just 5 months ago I was in Texas, born and raised. On my 20th wedding anniversary in June, my family and I boarded a plane to head up North..lol!

I have four children. 2 girls and 2 boys. I have 18 year old D, 15 year old B, 13 year old D, and 11 B. So if anyone wants some free hormones...my house has got them! My favorite question I ask my husband all the time is, "What were we thinking?" No really, they are great kids and we have a fun of ton with them. Three of them are avid golfers and so I am a golf cart mom most of the time and gymnist/cheer mom sometimes.

We also recently purchased a Yorkie-Poo. We named him Norman. He is very sweet and adorable. Our shitzu past this last winter so we were going to get a standard poodle, but went the other route! Thank goodness. Big Dog = Big Poop, Little dog = he did what...where?? Tip for purchasing a dog. Wait until after they are 9 weeks and you can get a great deal....even little ole Norman was on sale!

My DH has inspired my children to help in the savings by putting the amount saved into our Ski Trip fund for spring break. So every trip I make to the store, my little 11 year old calculator will tally up and announce who gets to ski now.

I love bargains and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go to yard sales. It is like a treasure hunt for me! I love this site and am having so much fun using coupons!

I said this before but I will say it again...this site is a connector for me, sloshing me around in a pool of wise women. I am glad to hold hands with ladies in here and grow in coupon wisdom plus have lots of fun too.

Hello everyone!
I am a 30year old stay at home mom with a 6 1/2year old girl and a very big 19month old boy. We moved to the sunny state of florida for a job from NY.(my baby won't know snow either!) My husband was layed off from that job 4 months after we got here. But has since found another one and it is wonderful.
I absolutely love couponmom. I call it my invisible friends. You guys are the best. I have always couponed, but only recently did i organize a binder and really get down to business. My friends are shocked about the stuff i get for free or for cents. I will never pay full price for anything!!

Super excited for the holiday gift exchange!

Hey LITSA- North, South, East, or West Florida?? I'm east.

I've probably already written enough about myself and my family in this forum, but I like to type a lot, so here goes!

I'm Marla, 34, married ten years. Two kids, age 9 and 10. We live in Michigan, and despite the bad economy here, I personally wouldn't want to live anywhere else, unless farther north. I love the cold weather! (I don't ski or do anything like that, I love the cold weather because I'm lazy and love, love, love having a reason to stay at home, bake something yummy and snuggle up to my sweetie on the couch!)

My only real hobby is poker. Someday, I'll get to Vegas

My husband and children do a lot of art at home... painting, sculpting, sketching, etc., so I am always on the lookout for a deal on things like canvases and polymer clays. My son is a Star Wars Lego geek. My daughter takes dance and acting classes, but I'm no stage mother. I've already explained to her how her acting skills will get great tips for waiting tables.

We have a larger, moronic mixed breed dog. She enjoys chasing squirrels and taking long walks on the beach. Our old cranky cat likes fine dining, and is currently on a hunger strike because I brought home a very large bag of food he hates. I don't know how many hamsters we have currently. They come and go.

I work in telephone customer service/sales as a job. I was a SAHM for 8 years. I never finished college and haven't gone back because I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

Default Just what it says on the tin

I'm 38 and used to live in Virginia, though I've also lived for small amounts of time in Tennessee and Texas. Been in SC for 10 years now. Sometimes I miss snow but I LOVE being near the ocean.

Like my forum name says, I am a "nerd." I am one of the rare breed of females who likes video games, gadgets, superhero movies and comics. I collect blades, read a book or two a week and write in my spare time. I've had several things published and my dream job would be successful novelist or book reviewer.

I have no pets or children, have been engaged twice and asked twice more but have never been married. I have a boyfriend whom I've been dating a little over a year. I have a degree in English with a double minor in psychology and education. At one point I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I realized I didn't and dropped out of the teaching program my final year of college.
I currently work for the State Dept. with a lot of wonderful people.

I joined the couponing world a few months ago and have been getting things for free and saving money ever since, and I love it. I really like this forum and interacting with other people who love a good bargain. Thanks for being great, folks!

Hi All...

I'm a 31 yo SAHM to 1 dd and I've been married to my sweet hubby 6 years. I have an online sewing business making baby items for new and expecting moms that I run from home

I'm originally from MI, but I grew up mostly in the Chicago 'burbs. I did a lot of moving around in between and after Chicago, finally ending up here in FL. I love it here, BUT I MISS THE SNOW! Most people think I'm crazy for saying that, but oh well! This Christmas will mark 7 years since I've seen snow *sigh*

I'd never been big into coupons. I've always been one to save and look for sales, but I never saw how a .50c Q was gonna really "save" me money??? NOW I KNOW! And now that I've started this adventure, its become a new way of life. How could anyone go back to paying full price??? I can't even imagine ever having to "pay" for razors or toothpaste again!!
