^^ Welcome to the forum, and OMG, please don't worry about saving only $40.00. That's a full tank of gas for me, or even a weeks worth of groceries (almost). That's a lot of money to save, be HAPPY!!! If you can do this 2-3 times a month, it's an extra $100.00. We never balk at saving ANY kind of money.

Smile Just me being me

Hello Y'all,

I am Brendy,28yrs old i live in Boston Ma with my 4 yr old son. My DH lives in Venice, Italy and I am supposed to move there ....eventually... I started using coupons after i had my son( i was and still am a single mom). But until the last 6 months I realised I was still doing it the wrong way. Now I wait and make sure I buy what I need when it's on sale and let the stores pay me to shop there, not the otherway around.

I am a pretty lonely person ,but i love to give to charity and i am teaching all my friends to save with coupons.

See you around

In my experience we are all lonely at one time or another....its an unfortunate part of the human experience.....this forum has made me feel less lonely and I hope it will for you too.....Welcome.

Default Introduction

Hi, my name is Sherri. I'm 25 years old. I am originally from Western Pennsylvania but now reside in Southern Maryland. I've been married for almost 3 1/2 years to my middle-school sweetheart. We've been together for over 10 years. We're both teachers. I teach Special Education. He teaches History. We have a 14 month old daughter, Allie, who is the best thing that's every happened to us. She is a LOT of work but brings a smile on our face! We also have 2 dogs, a Boston Terrier and a Pug.

We just bought our first townhouse. So besides a high mortgage, we also have two car payments, school loans, daycare costs, a vet bill, utility bills, etc. So money is definitely tight. Coupons have really saved our checkbook.

I normally spent $150 a week at a grocery store alone but now spend less than that at all kinds of stores. We're stocked with tons of stuff and I'm trying to settle down on how much stuff to continue buying. (it's addictive when it's so darn cheap)

I used to belong to the other website where you pay money to save money. (doesn't make much sense to me either) So I quickly switched to CouponMom. I'm so thankful for the site and the forum!

Glad to meet ya all!!!

Hi everyone....My name is Trina, 29yo, I live in central Arkansas with my DH and our dog Sam, 14.5 yo jack russell. DH and I will be married a year in January. I graduated in May, BS in Nursing, I am currently a stay at home wife, first time not having a job in 15 years, DH loves it, and most days I hate it. I plan to go back to work in Jan, I need my 2000 hrs to go back for my masters degree. The Holiday season is my favorite season, so it is nice to be unemployed this time of year. I have always been one for saving money, just didn't know how much money I could save until I saw this site, and of course all of your very generous posts on the forum. I had my very first $75 savings at the grocery store this weekend, and I thought I was going to explode with happiness at the checkout counter (the cashier was even giggling with excitement for me.)
Thanks to everyone for being so patient and so helpful on my journey of learning to be a strategic shopper.

Anywho, I'm unemployed right now. Looking for the right job to suit my degree. Been praying every day to get the right job fit. I've applied at over 150 jobbies and maybe received 20 replies back.
Patience is a Virtue.

Darling Husband
Darling Son
