Hi,

I'm 33, a mother of 4 (8, 7, 6 and 3 wks). Am really trying to get on the coupon bandwagon, having a tough time keeping up. But my goal is to really "get with the program" sooner rather than later.

I live in Baton Rouge and I'm having a hard time finding all the "great paper inserts" and none of my stores here that I can find double much less triple coupons. But if there are other Baton Rouge(onites) out there, I'd love some help getting going.

I'm new. I've been using coupons here and there for years, but this is my first foray into concentrated, organized, couponing. I'm just getting my feet wet looking at various websites and trying to figure out what my own game plan will look like.

I'm 58, been married to the same man for 38 years and we haven't killed one another or ourselves yet. The last 15 years or so have been the best of all, so hang in there.

We have a 16 year old daughter who thinks we're stupid (what else is new--she's 16) and is forever telling us there is nothing good to eat in the house. (Translation: She'd have to do something to be able to eat it, and it isn't take out.) Other than that she is a great kid, involved in school and church activities, doesn't do drugs or alcohol, isn't boy crazy, we know where she is 95% of the time, and we get a lot of compliments on her. We figure she will eventually understand that we knew what we were talking about. Of course, by that time we'll be too old to appreciate it...

We live in Glendale, AZ where it is still running about 102 t0 105 degrees more days than not and won't really start to cool off til mid October or so. (But it's DRY heat.. OH STUFF IT! IT"S HOT!!!!!) Can you tell I'm ready for fall??? Oh, and we also have a three footed girl cat and a Chihuahua that looks like a tiny Bambi--or Falene--Bambi was a boy.... Poor husband, he is so out numbered.

My name is Cindy, from western Kentucky,52 yo, married to hubby for 28 years, 2 kids, one still at home but looking, one living in another town with my 3 grandkids. I started couponing when we first were married and I was in the military. It helped a lot with stretching my low pay, trying to keep the kids in diapers and baby food. Got away from it for a while (God only knows why!) but started up again a few years back. Hubby complained about the time I spent cutting and sorting until I started bringing home receipts where the coupon section was longer than the grocery section. On a bad week, I'll have $25-$50 worth of q's, good week, my highest has been $140+! I work full time and started back to college this fall. I pretty much have a very full plate, but so far Im coping.Some days I even have my head above water!!

My name is Laura -- I am in south west VA. I am in my early thirties and at this point my partner and I have an empty nest, except for the the fur babies -- 2 dogs & a cat. I have couponed on and off for about 6 years, but got very serious about 18 months ago. I work in the housing industry and saw my income drop 30% from '07 to '08. Then my partner went back to school, dropping back to part-time and then a few months later lost her job. Couponing was a big way that I made our finances stretch. Thus far my best overall grocery savings was paying $83 for $264 worth of items.

I am 32years old...married for 10 years w/ 2 gorgeous girls 2 1/2 and 5 1/2. I am a 911 dispatcher (we take emergency calls and dispatch for 6 police agencies, 9 fire depts, and a medical company). I love my job, very rewarding, but also heartbreaking at times...but someone's gotta do it! We work 12 hr shifts, so this site is a godsend to me...saves me so much time and money. I enjoy the friends I have made on here and look forward to meeting many more! I enjoy couponing, traveling, meeting new people and to have bbq's w/ all our friends. We live in Washington state, so we relish our good weather when we have it. I love it hear...one hour from Portland, two hours from Seattle, hour from the beach and an hour to the mountain...can't ask for more!
