I am a SAHM of four children, ages 6 1/2, 5, 3, and 18 months, 3 girls and 1 boy. I was born in an grew up in central NJ, on a dirt road off a dirt road in the middle of the Pine Barrens. Graduated from college in NJ in 1994 with my degree in Biochemistry, then got my real estate license in 1994 since I could not find a job right away. Met my husband at work (a chemist also), broke my engagement with my boyfriend of 6 years to date him. We have been married nearly 10 years now. My parents both died 12 years ago, so they never met my husband or children of course. I decided to stay home after the birth of my first daughter in 2001, and have been home ever since. Moved to Indiana for a good job for my husband in 2004, so we have been here 4 1/2 years. Miss the Jersey shore, weather, and Six Flags in NJ (I grew up 15 minutes away from Great Adventure, I went with my dad at least 60 times a year from age 7-17, wonderful memories).
Since we are a family of six on 1 income I try to save as much as I can. I have always used coupons, but just started "extreme couponing" in the past 18 months or so. This site helps me so much, esp with CVS and Walgreens, I never shopped there before I read about deals here. I mostly shop at Meijer and Kroger (Payless here) and love Target clearance!
And last but not least, met "Kristinemomof3" on this site, now we shop together, trade coupons, and share deals.

I'm Amanda, 31, married to my wonderful husband for 12 years. We have two boys, ages 12 and 6. We live in Michigan and love it here. Things aren't good right now, job-wise...my husband has been laid off for just over a month now and my hours just got cut to 30/week yesterday. We're hoping things come together soon for the business my husband worked for and that they will call him back soon.

We have to Rottweilers, Justice and Moose. We've had Justice since our oldest son was 1 and Moose since he was 2. They are the sweetest furry babies ever. We have 5 or 6 'woods' cats. They've all come out of the woods to eat, some stay, some go, some let us pet them, some don't. Guess that's what we get for living in no mans land.

I just started couponing at the beginning of October. I've only done two shopping trips where I was using my coupons. One was the Kmart doubling event, another was just a good trip to Meijer... shampoo for 13.5 cents each. I'm hoping to learn a lot more and be able to save our family of 5 (grandma lives with us) a lot more on our grocery bill.

I'm Amy & I live in WA with my dh & 2 cute boys age 7 & 4. The 7yo just lost a tooth this morning & has a sleep over tonight so he's super excited today. I'm originally from upstate NY & have lived in CA, AL & FL. I've only been couponing bigtime since July but used to use q's when I was a starving student in CA. WA doesn't do double coupons so I didn't think it would be worth my time. It so is though now that I know about Walgreens and RiteAid. I love CouponMom & spend way too much time here. I'm so grateful for the advice & tips - it really helps. Thank you all.

I'm Cynthia, I live in So. Cal and I was born and raised in Chicago. I', 51 years young and single no kids. I'm presently living at home helping my mom in caretaking of my Grandmother who is 90.

I do the cooking and meal prep and coupon clipping. I was in the Grocery Game for the trial run but I cancelled. I didn't see the benefit. Here I do. My sale papers come out on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the GG you have to wait until Sunday....then have to cut coupons and get her list and go to the store between Sun and Tuesday ....by hten all the locusts(shoppers) have gotten all the sale stuff..LOL

I have been reading the threads and this is where I seem to get more info and tips. Plus you all seem to be stone cold coupon crazy's like myself. I love a bargaisn and I knew that I could save more money.
Presently we get two papers on Sunday...but that will change now that the holiday season is here. I tend to stock pile when the baking season is upon us. LOL.

So sad that I don't have any stores in my area double couponing anymore...but I still get the bargains. Couponmom makes sense to me. It's easy and to the point.

I'm 40 and I have three daughters aged 21, 18, and 10 i became a dad a little young, and would have liked to had been older. I'm widowed from my second marriage, and divorced from my first. I have full custody of my youngest-and if my oldest weren't adults i'd still have full of 'em. I grew up in the south bronx and toggle between alaska and upstate ny lol!

Hello, I am MrsDiesel, a nickname I picked up because they call my husband Diesel, a nickname he picked up when we were stationed in Korea.

I am 43, retired from the military, a stay at home Mom, trying to get into grad school, I never knew taking the GRE could make me feel so "DUMB"

I have two wonderful daugthers, 9 and 10 and we live in the Florida Panhandle.

I have been using coupons for several years but have just signed up to couponmom and so far I love it!

Since my income is now more fixed, it is important to me to save as much as possible and get the best deal possible. I look forward to reading all the forum threads and learning as much as possible.

Yes, somedays I do think I'm crazy!!
I am a 30 yr old SAHM of 4 -ages 10, 6, 3, and 2 yrs I have 2 boys and 2 girls(That's where I'm crazy you see). I've been married for 11 yrs and we reside in Texas. I quit my part-time job in July, which is when I got really serious about couponing. Just by couponing I've made up the $200-300 per mo. my paycheck would bring. We're feeding a family of 6 on $100 a week, which I am very proud of. I love this forum, it helps me keep my sanity on those "bad mommy days" - you know when you want to lock your kids outside in the backyard just so you can enjoy a little quietness. I worked a full-time job while my 1st two kids were little and being a SAHM mom is so much more challenging than I ever thought it would be. But I wouldn't change anything!

I am fairly new to couponing. I have been collecting q's and reading this forum for about two months now. I just started saving money, I mean really saving money and started posting things here.

Hi All, I probably should introduce myself since I have started posting. I am a 44 year old mom of three boys (ages 17, 11,and 7), four if you include my DH of 21 years. I am also the adopted mom to 3 cats, 2 very large and loveable dogs and several fish. I am originally from Toledo, Ohio, but lived in Memphis, TN for several of my adult years, currently I live in "The City of Homes", Newnan, GA. I was introduced to couponmom.com by a friend. I have been clipping coupons and advidly reading this board for about a month. My childern and husband are impressed with the savings.
