Since this is the brand new intro thread here I am again.

Kim, christian, age 46, married 24 years. 1 son, 22. 3 JRT, 1 cat, a couple of "foster" cats, chickens. Rueben the rooster will come inside if we aren't careful. I love that stupid bird but threaten him with the stewpot at least 3 times a day.

Have worked on and off for the school system or drs. offices through the years but basically have been a homemaker.

Have always been frugal but never a serious couponer until the last couple of months. Oh the money I've wasted.

Country girl (bet ya guessed with the chickens) just a couple miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love living in the sticks. Our land has been in my family for a long time.

I'm thrilled with finding couponmom and all these helpful, albeit whacky at times, ladies.

Hello again,

I'm "Maddie" (Madelon) That's pronounced "Madelyn" but the spelling is weird, don't ask, blame my g-ma, she did it!

Anyway, originally from upstate NY (Binghamton area) moved to NC my freshman year of HS.

Been married to DH for 4 years, have one DD, 2 and one son on the way (15th of this month)

Just started couponing and have a LOT to learn.

I am a SAHM and these forums are my therapy!!!

I worked for 12 years in the custom picture framing industry, (privately owned, not a major store like Michaels).

I recently decided to SAH with my kids so now we are living on 1 income and I am trying to save as much as I can.

Default Hi

Hi, my name is Lisa, I live in northern Indiana with my dh2b of 8 years. Makes me wonder if we will ever get married after 8 years, but we are happy. He's not to demanding and neither am I, and yes ladies he cleans too! I think I got the best of both worlds. I am a SAHM, with 3 children 15, 14, and 9. Couponing has been sort of my therapy because for the simple reason is, I literally wouldn't want to leave my house, unless I absolutely had to. I had issues with crowds, felt everyone was watching me. My dh2b would say it was all in my head, but he was still supportive. Now, I can't wait to go out get the papers, scour the ads and get the deals. He laughs at me now because I want to go to this store and this store. I am getting better at getting out, now all I have to do is slow down and browse. I'll get there soon enough. Couponmom.com has changed my life, and I have Stephanie and the mods to thank.

Sincerly, thanks, you all have changed my life for the better.

Hello, Yall!

My name is Domonique, (Dom for short). I'm 28 years old, and I live in North Texas with my DH of over a year. Definitely a true romance story. We married after knowing each other a month and a half, and I haven't killed him yet! I used to coupon a few years back, but I just got back into it recently. DH and I are both FT College students so we're definitely budgeting. Couponing has saved us tons of cash, and it's pretty relaxing for me. DH doesn't mind shopping with me with the coupons, so it's a big help that he tags along to manage my book while I "ooo" and "aaahh" over deals. I'm a criminal justice major so I pretty much analyze anything, including coupons and sales, so it all balances out. Once I get this master's degree, I'm going to teach and then work on my PhD. Even then, I'll have my coupon book. Maybe then I can be called. Dr. Coupon Diva or somethin'.

Dom

Default Hey!

Hi! I'm still a newbie couponer. I got started after I saw the Oprah episode (SO glad I have TiVo). I'm 33 and have lived in Miami since 1979 when my parents and grandparents immigrated from Cuba. So, I've only enjoyed snow on vacations! I work full time as a dental assistant/receptionist. I've been happily married for 8 years to my wonderful hubby. And we are parents to our adorable doggy. I love going on vacation, photography, museums, plays and musicals, TiVo and making beaded jewelry. I'm always finding a new projects. I'm so excited that I discovered the coupon world. I have learned so much and met some really nice people. I'm totally addicted to this forum!

I posted this somewhere else on a thread but since we have intros here

I am a 44 year old widow with three kids. My husband died in Iraq in 2003 when I was 7.5 months pregnant with our third. At the time I also had a son that was about to turn 2 and a beautiful 7 year old daughter. I've been at home because I needed to be with my kids and I was a basket case. Like many of the ladies here, daycare for two would have erased a salary. Anywho, these kids (now 5yo S, 7yo S, and 12yo D) are trying to consume food as fast as I can bring it in the house! I did the coupon thing on and off for years but now have a binder and have commited myself to spending at least 1/2 of what I did before. And I like getting lots of free stuff

I may be headed back to school in January. That's about it...I lead a pretty yawn-filled life.

Hello fellow couponers;

I am Julia, 31 years old, reside in Brooklyn and share my life with a wonderful DH and a cat named Matthew (grey tabby) who literally walks all over me. We are a one and some fractions income family, so couponing helps a great deal. DH and kitty are very supportive, the former one always asking how much I saved this time and the latter knowing not to hunt me when I am clipping precious coupons. Besides couponing, I love knitting, crocheting, cooking and reading.

Oh yeah, recently I transferred from the School of Accordeon to the University of Binder.

I love this idea. I'm Brenda. I'm happily married with 3 children. 15 year old daughter, 8 year old son and 3 year old son. I work part time-just 2 days a week and my other part time job is couponing. Yes, I really save enough to call it a part time job.. We live in Tucson with 2 cats and 2 dogs. The kids keep me pretty busy. We enjoy camping and girlscouts/boyscouts. So glad to meet everyone. I just started "tracking" my savings and was super amazed at how much money is left over at the end of the month!
