It's kinda weird to be introduced to friends, huh.

But my name is Toy. I am a 25 year old SAHM of 2 beautiful DDs. They are 7 and 9. My husband and I live in NC surrounded by friends and lots and lots of family. My hobbies include reading and couponing. But my passion is cooking, which both of my hobbies allow me to do.

That's all for me folks!!!!!!!!

Default Me...

Oops, I guess I'm not the only one who forgot to introduce themselves, so I don't feel so bad...
Well...I'm Betsy, almost 40 (eek), married to this wonderful man here for 2 years now, been together 5, He is 28. I have 2 boys from previous, one teen, and one thinks-hes-a-teen. They are the best
We live in CA, central valley area. I grew up around here, and DH is from Sacramento area.
Right now I am between jobs, like so many right now. I lost my job in '07, company went to mexico (all american candy bar...my rear ), went to school & got CDL, so now I'm a truck driver ! Big change, but I needed it . Currently laid off though, and looking for something else to do...now I coupon!!!
hhmmm....I have rebate & coupon shopped off and on for many years, but only the last 3 months or so have I given it more attention. I have been doing well, and DH bought me a new papercutter, I think he felt sorry for me, having to cut with the scissors and getting hand cramps :/
Oh, almost forgot..we are huge Simpsons fans, DH & boys all collect.
Thats all for now, I have coupons to cut, and shopping to do !

Hi everyone. My name is MaryAnn, I live in central Ct. Married, two daughters not living at home. I work full time and have become totally addicted to CVS since joining CM. I share my coupons and the tips and freebie options with my daughters since they don't subscribe to newspapers.

I've always done coupons and used to do rebates many years ago. Now my goal is simply to get my grocery bill to a much lower level and continue getting the deals. Have learned alot from the wonderful folks on this forum. Thank you.

Just realized I never introduced myself........here goes.......I'm Carol, I'll be 53 in April, I've been a SAHM more or less for many years. Today I live in the Orlando area. I say today because I've moved 34 times! I've been married almost 30 years to a man who has work ADD he gets very bored with his job and since he's very good at it he just finds a better one. Right now he's a consultant so he leaves Sunday's and come homes Friday's....reason for long marriage

We have 2 kiddos. Son,25 yo, is in law school in VA and other one, daughter, almost 21, lives at home is a junior in speech pathology at the local univ. We also have a golden retriever who is very spoiled.

We love to travel and do it as often as possible. In April hubby and I will celebrate 30 years of marriage with a 2 week trip to Ireland (our 5th!) I was born in Puerto Rico but moved to NC when I was 10. After high school I went out to San Diego, Ca. for 6 mths, back to NC then off to University of Maine (dad was from there). Somehow after graduation I ended up in Brownwood, TX then Houston. DH (whom I met at university in Maine) and I married and from there its been an adventure. We've been to TX (3 x) LA, NY, ME, OH, GA, SC, FL (2 x), VT, Dubai, UAE and recently to Koryazhma, Russia. Some of those states we moved more than once from city to city. And yes we've bought homes and yes we homeschooled our kids until high school.

My hobbies are many......depends on the day! I am most passionate about my genealogy. The reason I coupon is in order to stretch dh's salary so that we can give back to the community for the times we've needed help (long stories).

Sorry this is so long.

Default Just Julie

And I'm the next in line dummy that didn't know there was an intro page.

So, what to tell? I'm 38. I'm married to my sweety pie. We have a total of 6 kids. His mine ours. Currently we have a 15 year old and a 3 year old in the house. Both girls. We have one cat and a chiweenie. I am a respiratory therapist at a local hospital and my husband is a nurse for some cardioligist. He mostly works at home, though. This is great because we refuse to put the 3 year old in day care.

I have become more daring with the older I get. I started a business just to see how the process went. (only cost $26) And I'm pretty sure I am starting a coupon group on Sunday. Just gonna post a flier and show up. I might be the only one there but oh well.

My dream life is now almost opposite to what I thought I wanted when I was younger. The most important is a close relationship with God. Second is having a close loving family. Third, I am working on paying off all our debt and couponing is THE most fun way to help with that! Looking forward to a future without financial responsibilities.

I think that's about it.

Yeah for speech pathology!! I'm a SLP as well and run a business for therapists....Does she want to relocate to AZ when she's done?? Can always use great therapists! Congrats to her...there is definitely a need for us and in today's economy job security is a good thing!

I'll let her know.....she's trying to figure out what to do about grad school.....she wanted to be a teacher but I convinced her that if she wanted to have more control of her time and effort and work part time when she had kids that speech pathology would be a better field.....she's very good with people with disabilities, loves working with autistic kids, so I think its a good match

Default Oldie but Newbie

Hi, I registered under the name of PattyCake. My name is Patty and for many years I was a cake decorator. I am now retired and have been couponing for more years than most of you have been alive. I was a pioneer in the coupon world. I couponed when it was rather shameful. It made the statement that you didn't have enough money to get by. I did it because my husband and I had goals we wanted to achieve and this was something I could bring to the table. I have saved thousands of dollars over the past years. It had helped is put our two children thru college and have a paid for house. I have been lurking here because I need to learn more about the internet printed coupons. I am not getting older, I am getting better!!!! Thanks to you all of you for your postings. I have learned alot and maybe I can teach you something!!

Hi Everyone,

I have been enjoying reading everyone's posts and learning from you all for several months now, but just started posting this past weekend.

I am a SAHM with one 11 y.o. daughter. Husband is retired military. We moved to Northern AZ (anyone in/near Flag?) 1-1/2 yrs ago after spending 13 years in western NY.

About me: I am Gluten Free (translation: VERY expensive specialty foods), volunteer at church with various groups/activities, love to read, do quick and easy crafts (short attention span), and am into all kinds of frugality. PINK is my favorite color.

I appreciate all the words of wisdom you all share.

Allison
