Below is quoted from Wikipedia (I figured that would be better than my explanation):
Copt (literally: Egyptian Christian) is a native Egyptian Christian. Copts are Egyptians whose ancestors embraced Christianity in the first century. The word "Coptic" was originally used in Classical Arabic to refer to Egyptians in general, but it has undergone semantic shift over the centuries to mean more specifically Egyptian Christian after the bulk of the Egyptian population converted to Islam. In modern usage, it is frequently applied to members of the Coptic Orthodox Church irrespective of ethnic origin. Thus Ethiopian and Eritrean Christians were traditionally referred to as Copts, though this has been falling out of use since their Tewahedo Churches were granted their own patriarchs.
Coptic Christian population in Egypt is the largest Christian community in the Middle East. Christians represent around 10-20% of a population of over 80 million Egyptians, though estimations vary. Around 90% of them belong to the native Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. The remaining (around 800,000) are divided between the Coptic Catholic and the Coptic Protestant churches.
The number of Copts within Egypt may be very slowly declining due to higher immigration rates.
It is wonderful to be from the country that was blessed by Mary and baby Jesus. I actually have been to the rock that Mary sat on it when escaped from Bethlaham.

Wondering the same thing...
Ahhh...was posting as hnks was. I see now.
All these divisions for Christianity.
Makes me laugh everytime my grandmother says she is not southern Baptist. Just a postnote here people, I'm not looking to get into a religious debate. I just find it interesting as to all the divisions within one sect.

Hi,i'm terri and i'm pretty new here.I just posted to the do cashiers use coupons,on the Wal mart thread.I was a cashier there until 6 weeks ago.I transferred to another dept.Still cashier when they're busy, and short handed.I quit cashiering, because i just could'nt deal with the customer's anymore. My state has such rude people. Not just rude to me,but to other cust.'s as well.I am the kind who took great care with purchases.Wrapped breakables individually, greeting cards in sep. bag, food DOES NOT go in same bag as chemiclas, etc.
Anyway, where I work's already been stated.I'm divorced, have 2 grown kids.27 and 20.Oldest just moved out for the first time ever, about 2 months ago.Not coping well with that,I admit.Poor kid, can't even come here, without his mommy boo hoo'ing,as he drives away!!Just got full time,at WM.Pretty set schedule, with set days off.Finally.Am going to take a online class,at our CC.Something easy,as I've never been to college, before. Was born and raised in so.ca.,about 100 miles north of L.A.Lived on the Central Coast of cal.,ever since.Am just learning about couponing, getting organized, etc.I have Q's everywhere.I cut them out on my lunch hour.Sit in my car,a couple of parking lots from WM,and pretend,i don't really work there.I'm looking forward to learning, and hope to meet some nice people,om this site.

I have never introduced myself. How rude!
I am Katie. I married my hubby in 2001. I am 29. I am a SAHM to my 20-month-old son. Would love to be pregnant again but just started back to college for degree #2, so I'm waiting until I'm done with that before having another kiddo. Degree #1 was in media communication and church music, which I loved. I'm now studying to be a nurse, which I also love. Since I already had a degree, I only have to take one class each semester, so DH can watch DS anytime I'm in class. That helps with the mama guilt.
I joined CouponMom when I lived in GA several years ago while DH was getting his Ph.D. LOVED living in GA (DH grew up there) but moved back to KY (where I was born) to be near the fam. We are attempting to build a house on my parents' farm. My parents don't live here yet, but they hope to retire here. They're not too far away, though. If anyone would like to come finish our house, that would be super duper. Love having lots of room for DS to play and watch the cows.
I have a black lab named Casey and a gray cat named Riley. My best friend is my sister. Talk to her many times a day, and we hope she can move back soon. I need a coupon buddy, after all!
I love to cook and spend most of my time with DS or doing homework.

Saying hey...
Well, my name's Erin and I live near Houston, TX. I'm 27 and have a 3 year old daughter. I have been doing the coupon thing since I was a broke college kid (still have my original book with the rubber broken in pieces and tied in a knot to stay tight, now I use two though) Graduated in 2003.
Living back with my parents for the past year, and as if things couldn't get any worse, a hurricane had to come along and destroy one store in the mall which happened to be the one that I worked at. To top that I had just got a small promotion, a big deal in retail. Anyways, got to spend the holidays with my daughter, who's birthday is the day after Christamas. This was my first holiday off in 10 years!
So I guess that's when I REALLY started getting into the CVS ECB thing when I lost my job in Oct., I had been doing it for a year or so but not so religiously. And I just started with the Walgreens rebates in November, I had always been wary of mail in's but i was surprised to get these in less than a week.
Anyway, I guess what really drew me here was the need to have someone care that i came home with a buttload of stuff for 28 cents that doesn't say now did you really need 5 tubes of toothpaste and 6 suave deodorants?? Yes, yes I did!

Hello from San Diego
Hello my name is Ali and I’m a coupon addict. I’ve been using coupons religiously since Nov. of last year when I was on disability from having knee surgery and tired of being the TV guide.
My son and DH (who seen Opera’s commercial for Coupon Mom and suggested I take a look) get a kick out of me and my coupons not to mention my stock pile of goodies that I’ve gotten though using coupons.
Let’s see here I’m 32 from San Diego I have a teenage son and just found out last night that I have one on the way…….So I’ll have one graduating high school and one going into school ………..CRAZY!
All I can say is I’m soooooo thankful that I’ve found coupons and this site to help me find the best deals for my money especially now.

better late then never !
I have also not formally introduced my self...
My name is Renea I am 33 years old. I had to think about that one
I have been married since 1998..I have a wedding anniversary coming up in March.
I was born and raised in Arizona and still live there but I one day want to live in washington state. To get out of the heat and to be closer to my mom who has been there for 2 years.
I am proffessionaly a hairdresser but was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004 so I am now a HW..It really is a job. I mean where did I find the time for it when I was working. I also have extreme fatigue do to MS..So maybe it is just that it takes me 3 times longer to get things done..dunno !
We do not have kids. Not by choice..Maybe one day !
My children are my 2 dogs Prancer..He is 9 and Bella..She is 3. They are both Pomeranians..
I am a great and loyal friend. I was just telling my best friend today that we have been friends for 20 years. We met when I was a freshman in High School..One of my fiirst dates with my husband was at their wedding and they both stood up for us at our wedding.. Cool huh !
Since i am now home all the time..I needed to come up with some indoor hobbies..I have tryed scrapbooking. It was not for me and too expensive. I have also tryed making topiaries. It was OK but not really doing it for me..
I started using coupons in october after watching Oprah...Yeah Oprah..
I think I have found my calling !
It has been great getting to know those of you that I have and hope to meet others in Arizona. I would love to start some kind of coupon group in arizona..
Meet and talk.. Have lunch etc.....
I am loving saving so much money ! Having fun while doing it!
I still have lots to learn...
