It's amazing how fast things change.
This time last week I was going about my daily routine getting ready for the weekend and wondering if we'd have any house showings. Saturday morning get two calls for showings, get an offer on the house that night but we have to be out by Nov 19th!! So, on Sunday we go house hunting, find one we love, put offer, it was accepted on Monday night and have been packing ever since. DH and I were discussing new items for the house we'd like to get and decided that our Anniversary (Nov 28th) and Christmas presents to each other will be new items for the house. That handbag I've had my eye on for so long no longer is important. Just sooooo excited to be able to finally sell our house, buy a new one and will be in it for Christmas. Very exhausted already but it's ok. This exhaustion and hard work will all be worth it in a very short period of time.

Holy cow! Talk about whirlwind. Glad you found a place that you love, instead of just settling. I'm surprised you have any time to post. Hang in there, it'll all be over and back to normal before you know it.

So glad you found your house! I know in another thread you said you had to be out very soon. How exciting. And during this special time of year! Do tell what you get for your new house.

sooo happy for you. such a relief, and yes stuff for the house can make for great gifts.
i asked for a new porch light for my birthday - just hated the one that came with this old house and was more than happy to forgo other gifts for something i can look at everyday and not wince at. |
