Thank you everyone for the kind words and prayers. It was a rough nite last night, I woke up at 1:50 am said a payers tossed & turned fell asleep and woke up again at 3:15 am fell asleep and finally got up at 5am. I can't explain it other than feeling like when your waiting those last few days of your pregnancy and the due date is approaching. Your nervous, anxious, and excited all at the same time.
I posted up a picture of him that was taken in Sept by a parent at Parris Island for graduation. He is in the 2nd row outside, if you are able to enlarge the pic you will see a scar on the right side of his head. That's my boy!

Congratulations to your family and your son. You must be so proud. My hubby is going into the Navy in March, his brother has been in training for 1 week now. DH wants to try for Seals after bootcamp, more grueling torture! I'm also waiting for the last few weeks of my pregnancy, so there's alot of that nervous excitement going on here too. Who knows what the future holds?! Only good things for sure. Blessings to your son and all of you.

I wish the very best to your son. My prayers will be with him always as I pray everyday for our military. My husbands first 4 years was as a Marine and then the next 18 he was in the Army. Any branch of the military gets my highest respect. It takes special people to give the dedication any soldier gives. I will pray for you also because many people don't realize what we go through as the families left behind to worry!! I always talk about my husband because I'm so proud of him, he retired with a very highly decorated career and is now overseas still. GOD BLESS EVERY BRANCH OF SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN!!! Your son is going to do great!!! My heartfelt thank you to him!

My son my hero the United States Marine
Thank you everyone for the prayers and wonderful comments. Wanted to update you and let you know he made thru and is now a United States Marine.
Best of all we got a phone call from him today and got to talk for 30 minutes. He sounded good, tired, but happy it's over. Said he ate so much at the Warrior's Breakfast he was sick all day yesterday. Got to eat cereal and milk for the 1st time in 12 weeks. Guess I better stock up on ceral now.
