Glade tin rants

I saw these tins on sale at WalMart today for $2.25. There was an open tin and no coupon inside. I looked at some others in glass holders and some of them had a coupon inside so I took one out just to read it and put it back in....it was a Q for $2/2 Glade Scented Oil Products....I put it back in though after looking at it. Not a bad deal....but I am not really into those candles....might get one though.

Do they really give off a lot of scent? Is the gingerbread one nice smelling? When I tried to smell it it didn't smell like gingerbread to me.

I have some Qs for free refills too...maybe I should just try one...everyone seems to be really into these

I told DH this, and he told me that since I did that, everyone probably thinks I'm the one who took the coupons. I only purchased the ones that had coupons in them, so of course, I probably did look like the culprit!

LOL, I haven't purchased any so far....but if I decided to I would check and only buy the ones that weren't missing their coupons too.

I also put the lid back on the one I found with the lid half off....it bothered me.

I buy them as gifts. I love the jar candles, but the oil candles are just way to strong for me. They make me sick at my stomach and give me a headache (but a lot of scents do this, perfume, colonge, ect). Everyone that I've given them to loves them though.

Maybe that's why I am not into scented candles all that much ... strong or perfumy scents give me a headache too. I can get a headache just being close to someone in a store who put on too strong of perfume or cologne.

I love the candles. We had a problem with an outlet in the house and DH swears it was the Lasting Impressions and doesn't want them in the house anymore. But I can have all the candles I want. Never have found a single one with coupons. I sort of figured the store took the coupons out so people would stop tearing them up.
