I'm on here because I'm stalling on doing bills. And I had a huge lunch and would rather take a fat nap. Took my dad to Gruene (pronounced green). It used to be a regular ole dinky little town when my dad last lived down here. They reinvented themselves as a huge tourist attraction. Restaurants, antique shops, winery, and tubing down the river. He was amazed at the change. Think he had a good time. I know he liked the food...Mr. Oinker.

Claudia I feel grounded too. DH took my car since his isn't starting. He changed a headlight Sunday, next thing you know its not starting. He always goes poking around and then we end up with more fix-its. He tried to jump it this morning but its not the battery. Probably a loose wire he said. I hope so, I've got a shopping plan 'burning a hole in my pocket' so to speak. Just a few cans of cran. sauce from CVS, tomato soup from WAGS, few other things from WM. And tomorrow happens to be my b-day. How do you think that will work out? lol I put a febreeze candle Q on the fridge and said that's all I want. $3 at WM after the coupon. That's what you have to do if you want a gift around here. I even left out a gift bag, and some tissue for him. He is pretty dense when it comes to that stuff. He'd just as soon have himself a new cd and forget about me. Gotta love him.

Have a Happy Birthday. I will be with Shyanne tomorrow then with Hubby tomorrow night for the anniversary.. Enjoy

Hmmm.... Litsa suggested to have your thyroid checked, but also have your doctor check your hormones. You may be going through that Men-on-pause thing.... I know that I am and I have to force myself to do anything. Believe me, I'm not busy because I want to be, I'd much rather sit on the couch and crochet or clip my q's. Even then I don't always have the motivation to do much. DH gets so angry with me 'coz I never WANT to go anywhere. Do you take any vitamins? A good multi might help too...

Going to see Sweet Lips today...YEAH I GET TO SEE MY BABY....She is going to get smothered in kisses and hugs from Grammie...I will hug and kiss her for you all too.. This time last year I was buying Shyanne her very first Teddy Bear and Jen some flowers and then I went up stairs and fed Little Miss Sweet Lips for the first time Moments I will NEVER FORGET..Still kinda had a nightmare/or making me have a hard time falling asleep cause I couldn't get the night out of my head when this whole mess of her in the hospital. To remember her whole birth to that awful night kills me sometimes. BUT I STILL HAVE HER...Which is the greatest..She is improving everyday..

Can't wait to see her in her blanket Papa picked out..It one of those wrap around ones like the towels for babies with the hood..Well this one is a blanket and is a MONSTER for the character ..that fits her sometimes LOl...I will have TONNNNNNSSSSSS of PICS...

Have a great day all. Probably just spend time with hubby tonight we dont have anything planned. Basically celebrated on Monday.


My Vicki just left for school and is so sad ready to cry. She wanted to stay home from school or get out of school early so she could go with us to see Shyanne for her birthday. I told her I didnt want her missing school and we will see that she gets there soon. With Flu season coming if she misses now she will have a hard time with her absences. I do feel for her..

Afternoon everyone! Just thought I'd check in quick while I had a free moment. #1DD came home this morning from CA and she is sooo excited about her upcoming wedding. The proposal went fine and they plan on getting married on New Year's Eve. I know it is quick but they would rather do it that way then have to make plans for a ceremony here in Michigan after they already have moved to California in January. We wrote out an announcement for the local paper and she just has to pick out a picture to submit with it. She is having a very small(Iguess they call it "intimate") wedding with just 18 guests. This will be a mini prelude to when my #2DD gets married(BF has to propose first,lol) since she will have a whopper of a wedding, as far as guests go. Well, got to go and hope everyone is doing well today.

I SAW SWEET LIPS....I had the best day ever. I held her almost all day she slept in Grammie's arms. She loved her presents especially the ones that papa picked out. When I told her papa picked it out she was blowing kisses and saying hi to papa..Called him on the phone and he talked with her. She was filled with smiles. She was crabby but that is cause she didnt get her regular nap but she slept with Grammie all afternoon...Told her all her coupon friends say hi and happy birthday and sent hugs and kisses and she smiled and sent them back to you all... I will have pictures up soon...PICTURES ARE UP

Oh Binky you have to come see me when you decide to go tubing! Do you go to the Lion's club rental? It burned down earlier this year but they set up a temporary station. The weather is actually perfect for it right now.

The Austin Celtic Festival is going on this weekend which I can't wait to go to! Love all the Irish/Scottish music. I might sign up for a class and learn to play a tin whistle. Aren't you glad this site doesn't have sound! I'm an awful musician. Anyway, great food, beer, shopping, battle reenactments and did I mention shopping?

Hi quack quack..OH she has a duck in therapy that quacks and she loves it I thought of you...Yes the ball helps her stand..She is slowly working on drinking the bottle...Oh tonight when we left she was playing hide and seek..that was this evenings game...She has gotten so big is right and she is a cutie..LOVES Her Grammie and when DD was feeding her the bottle for the first time since this happened SL was looking at me as if to say you do this please..cause she would look at me and just want to be in my arms cause she would cry with mom.
