Default kind of scarry news

On Friday I went to the eye doctor. I have pretty bad vision, but it isn't that bad. I had emergency eye surgery in Feb, 2006. I switched doctors this year. Mine had become really unreliable. I am now going to see a friend of my family's. I went to the doctor and spent almost two hours with her, while she ran a bunch of exams. So Raschelle, the doctor is done my eye test. She has become worried about my right eye. She says to me, that I have early stages of Glaucoma in my right eye. My family has a history of eye problems, including blindness and cataracts. I am slightly freaked out, and not to sure what to do. Even though she says my prescription hasn't changed much. Just a little rant.

My husband also has glacoma. found out about 2 years ago. he has had laser done but the dr. said he will eventually have to use eye drops for it and unfortunately there is no cure. so eventually he will go blind
But the best thing to do is keep seeing the eye dr. my husband has to go every few months. He sees a dr. more specialized in eye problems that was recommended by the eye dr. that found the problem.
My thought are with you. this is not a easy thing to know you have.
