I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers are sent out to you and your family.
It's getting a bit scary, we've had a few people die at the hospital from it as well. No vaccine yet in our area. Hopefully it will be here soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is scary stuff. I have been sick for almost ten days with the flu and it is nasty stuff. Finally starting to feel better today. Grateful for a good Dr.

No vaccine here either.

Everyone needs to take precautions and PLEASE if you are sick stay home, from work or running errands. I know this is tough - I have been off work for a week without pay (don't have sick benefits-where I work), but I would not want anyone exposed to what I have had.

My thought and prayers go out to your family.

Wow! Sorry for your loss.

Did he have a compromised immune system anyway?

My sympathies to you and your family as well. 29 is far too young to go.

Cavelady is spot-on... no need to expose folks to stuff like this. I made sure that when all the cold and flu stuff was on sale that I made sure I stocked up... as well as put some soup in the pantry and frozen OJ in the freezer (I ALWAYS have tylenol, tea, lemon and honey!). Don't have to go out if I get sick... my stockpile is here. I always worry about getting sick, as my mother's immune system isn't up to snuff, and I CAN'T take the flu shots (I'm allergic).

my prayers are with you. just know that God does everything for a reason. my 4yr old had it about a month ago and the doctor told us not to get the vaccine right away because they didn't even know the side effects of it. stay strong
