time to clean
don't be too shocked but I have to take a break...those who were with me the other night will know things are out of control around here. DH is staying up north this week end and DD has a variety of activities keeping her out and about so while all is quiet I'm going to do my fall cleaning. When I clean I start from the inside out....I like seeing those nice clean cupboards!!
I'll be logging off and not getting back on until the house is clean from top to bottom...baseboards etc. See you guys in a few days!!

Suddenly I'm exhausted!!!!! ok, let the truth be known, I should probably close my browser and do the same - so I think they call that 'jealous'. I've just felt so lazy recently, it's almost not even funny.

I hear ya. I'm in the process of doing the same myself. When I can no longer fit stuff into my cupboards, it's time for a purge. I split up my freebie stash (just the overflow items) into 6 care packages for friends & family. I purged and organized my office and bathrooms. At the moment, I'm re-organizing my kitchen cupboards. I found a few things with approaching expiry dates, so I'm really glad I'm taking the time to check on those. Next thing on the list would be the closets in my room and the hallway. Then I'll feel better about getting ready for the upcoming holidays and some of the bigger home projects that we have planned.

Ugh! I hear ya Carol. I should be doing the same thing, but I just can't get the motivation for it. Yesterday was 65 degrees... perfect day to take out all of my windows for cleaning... did I do it? NOPE The afghan I'm working on was so much more appealing.
 I've got to get some fall cleaning done though. My allergies will thank me.

Glad to see there are folks who still believe in fall cleaning. Hated it as a kid when my mother had us all cleaning the house top to bottom but I will do a chunk of it before the holidays. Wish I had instilled it into my kids!

My DH and I are on "vacation" this week. Nope not going anywhere, just a day trip to Mt. Vernon. We are supposed to be working around the house cleaning, fixing and ect but it's just too nice outside this week to be indoors. I told him that fall cleaning can wait til Saturday while it's raining outside.

i have been supper busy
organizing Q organizing \ starting to put together a stock pile helping to watch our 2 kids keeping up wth our neighbors trying to keep up with sales have bought a gift for a neighborhood kids party need to buy a gift for a sunday bday party keeping up with ALL of my first kids pre K school stuff (his 1st month of school and already : a book fair, 3 schoolastic book club flyers, 2 fundraisers- not to mention parent \teacher conferces are coming up) maybe after the 'after hoiliday ' sales are over i can get a break
