Default one of those days.....

I spent too long at Publix and so I rushed home to start my beef stew.....first I burned the pan as I was browning the meat then I almost boiled off all the liquid and now when I made biscuits I didn't have Self Rising so I used baking powder and I put in almost double the amount called for and of course I'm low on flour

It might just be a pizza night after all

I am happy to report that the stew was not burned despite my fears....it actually was just right. I guess a little extra Burgundy covers many mistakes! The kids had 2 servings each and nobody noticed any difference with the biscuits

lol just remember when something is scorched... don't stir the pot!! Just quickly transfer it to another pot and put the scorched one to soak immediately.

It will still have a slightly scorched flavor... but it won't be very bad.

As you can tell... I've been there MANY times. lol
