I participate on another forum and they do something really super cool there.
I thought some of you would like to do something similar. Here it is.
All across the country the types of Christmas Tree ornaments are very different. Most people keep their Christmas Ornaments year after year.
If you would like to participate in a Christmas Tree ornament exchange, we will post our names here, and on the first of November or so we will pair up the names, kinda like 'DRAW NAMES', and you will mail each other a Christmas Ornament. You will PM each other your addresses and have a Christmas Ornament Exchange. You can decide amongst your PM if you want to exchange an existing ornament in your collection or to buy ornaments, depending on your budget.
Please keep in mind that someone out there will be waiting on your Ornament to arrive in the mail probably just as anxiously as we wait the arrival of a Coupon Train or Trade, so please be considerate and only committ to this project if you are willing/able to spend the postage money. The cost of the ornament is not necessarily a problem because you can decide amongst your trade partner in a PM to exchange an existing ornament in your collection if that fits your budget better.
Sounds like those FREE BUBBLE MAILERS we all got awhile back may come into play with this game.
You have until around NOVEMBER 1ST to add your name to this list. I will "draw" names during the first week of NOVEMBER and you will need to make contact with your trade buddy by NOVEMBER 15TH, and have the ornaments mailed before DECEMBER 1ST as to give our partners time to enjoy their new ornaments.
Then every year when you put up your Christmas Tree your FREE ornament from across the nation will represent your "Blessing of Savings"!
