Mor---nin ~

Busy busy weekend... had a great time with MIL, soup was realllllly good (I'll share the recipe in the recipe thread), then DH and I went to Red Lobster for his b-day dinner... love them Cheddar Bay Biscuits...

Today, I have to work for a short little bit, then a bridal shower for my nephew's bride-to-be (wedding is in 2 weeks), and then to friends for dinner. I think I might be able to collapse around 9:30 tonight. I'll be clipping q's tomorrow while DH and DD are working

Coffee's great, Kimmie, it's always nice to have coffee made for ya

Hi to everyone, have a great day. Haven't seen Churn on lately...

good Morning q friends, did a wags run already, got the fusion lotion, chap stick and garbage bags and the Puffs deal, should have stayed longer or read here first. I see I missed a couple unadvertised deals, namely the sugar and coffee. Anyhoo, been pulling this place together slowly. The paperwork from housing came in the mail and I couldn't be more pleased about the whole thing! Im in my sons room and him and the cat are sound asleep. There is an irrigation canal behind my house and there are ducks, turtles, birds, squirrels, lizards......its really peaceful and I feed the ducks (a mama and 3 lings and 2 BIG males) all the crackers we dont eat. Like the kashi ones, yuk. They liked them tho. quack quack. which they havent really done, they sorta chortle or gobble, they come really close too. Well, all who need are in my prayers. I hope everyone has a great day.

*peeks in*

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I'm sorta new to couponing. Back when I was growing up, I would help my mom look for coupons. When I got out on my own, I never really couponed much until I had my baby earlier this year and was trying to figure out ways to trim our expenses without me working. And babies are expensive! I started a stash about 6 weeks back, and I'm starting to see some savings off our grocery bill. Oh, and when I saw all kinds of health/beauty things I had coupons for in this week's Shoprite sale circular, I cheered. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

Welcome, Chelsea!

And hi, y'all!

Nerdy here, the merry-go-round has almost stopped. Gotta go to a dentist for a toothache, clean my kitchen and do a load of laundry but FINALLY got everything else caught up! I've missed you all, it's just been very hectic the past few weeks for me. I'll be back soon.

Hey all! Been working. Hi Burntcheese. Love the name. If your husband thinks you're nuts then you're doing it right.

Thought I had allergies yesterday with the 4 days of rain we got. Kept feeling a little worse all day. Today had 102.2. I've been banished to bed and not allowed to have any fun...or coffee. DH says the caffeine will make you feel worse. He did give me ice cream. This disease is going to be blamed on Lil'D because she was sick with the plague last week. I will miss the sales today and won't even get a paper

Hope to be up and around in the next 2 days. My dad is moving over here. Not planning on living with us so I've been trying to find a place for him. Very difficult in a college town. He may have to stay with us for a few weeks. Glad everyone is doing better than me. Don't worry I'll be back to life soon.

Default My Day

New to this thread of Java Hut but noticed it is where people just make notes about their life throughout the week so I thought I'd "join" to get to know others on here.
Yesterday my check engine light came on while on my drive home from shopping...getting some good deals too! I didn't go to church because I didn't want something to happen on my way there. I was waiting until my friends- who I'm living with as their nanny- got home from their church so we could drop the car off then they could bring me back home.
Since I didn't know when they would be home & it was already after 1 I decided to just get ready & I'd wait at the shop. Well, as I was leaving my friends showed up. B offered to pick me up if it was going to take a long time.
I got to the shop- $98 + change for a diagnostic! OK I guess. I had B come get me because it was going to take a long time. When I told him he said we could take it to an auto shop literally around the corner & tell me what is wrong for FREE! That is what we did- I need my CO2 sensor changed. Glad B was around before I lost $98!
Now just watching the kids for B & J- B deploys in about 2 weeks. Maybe some hot cocoa or something tonight when they go to bed! Hope everyone had a good day!
