I just love when my husband opens the cupboard and says, "we don't have any cereal." Well if you don't like any of the 15 boxes in that cupboard, try the other cupboard. There are 20 more in that one.

Too funny!! Good idea along with the shelving in the kids closets. I'm the only female in my house; it's my DH and three sons, so, guaranteed that idea would work. I could hear it now, "Why is there a huge bag of tampons?" Pair that with all the free Kotex liners I snagged from K-Mart doubles and I'm set for a very long time!! LOL

He even said he didn't care if I can get an item or $.01, I shouldn't buy it cause we have no more space and it's a waste. Although I beg to differ, I will have to slow it down for a bit. He also doesn't realize that a lot of what I have will be going towards gift baskets for the Holiday's. Oh well, Happy Couponing!!

I hear the same from my DH.But they just don't get it. I have things in every part of the house. But the fun thing is most times when he ask for something I have it . I have just start to help a friend who is having it hard. And she was surprise when she came over. The only thing I do not is baby things.
I anyone has baby food coupons or formula check or coupon and do not need I would be happy to pass the on. They are live off her check only and she just over so they can not get food stamp or any help.
I am so thankful to god for being able to find so many things. and to be able to share. Cause we have very little i have a very sick child and not able to work. But it feels good to share. So find room in your closet and start to make your baskets then he I hope will be unstanding. And if you can try to price out each basket what it would cost full price and what you really paid for it.
Two weeks ago I went shopping spend 354.83 before couponing and 81.19 after I was so proud. And all he could we only need it half of this. But he's eat almost everything.

My DH and sister both laugh when they see my linen closet aka "the giant stash of female hygiene products" - DD won't run out for years!

I am fortunate that DH could care less about my couponing. As long as he has cereal to eat - something to eat for lunch and dinner - he doesn't complain. I do have a huge stockpile as well - but I haven't shopped for HBA items in 4-5 months. As longs as I stay on my budget, he can't complain about it.

Now I don't feel so bad about moving clothing out of my closet--instead of rotating my seasonal clothing, I just have been living out of the totes. I CAN'T put them in the closet; that's where my stash is! Well, a good portion of it that is. It's been oozing out into other closets in the house and now is starting to invade the shelving in the basement that's supposed to be for storage.

I once asked my hubby to go with me to CVS because he has a card also and it was a really good week for deals and didn't feel like making 10 trips. So...I put all of his purchases in his basket and got mine together then told him which ECB's to use and how much OOP he could expect. He thought it was really cool. The next week, he was more willing to go with me and I must say he was quite amazed at the whole process. Ever since then, he said I'll go with you anytime you want. He still kind of makes fun of my stockpile but never complains about $$ spent because he knows I spend so little. I'm also making my first donation this week because I felt like 13 bottles of body wash was maybe a bit too much for just 2 people

Pull out your receipts and show him how little you spend
donate some, or shop for family as lucy does because after all
we do not want to get out of practice..
but me personally.... I would have a thing or two to tell him
I cannot think of anyone that has won an argument with me yet!
