the fact that he has no family left just makes everything so bad.... to live to 107 and be broke.....I imagine they'll do another fundraiser, that's why they've gotten the word out.....lets see if 10,000 people sent in $5 each he could stay another 2 years!

when I was a travel agent (I know, I know...) There were several elderly folks who Cruised on ships all year round. They said it was better than an Assisted living center.... great food, someone cleans your room, Free Medical care...and you get to go to exotic places. They only came "home" to visit family, and renew their passports.

I always thought that if I weren't afraid of the water... that might be a cool thing for me to do when my time comes. hmmm...
