Not wanting to shop is totally different from not needing to. You don't need to & that is the best thing. Be proud of yourself. You should be happy about the fact that you're saving so well you can pick and choose what you want to get.

I was this way about 2 months ago - just burned out from chasing all the deals and having to get it all. I stopped clipping & took 2-3 weeks off. You need to make sure that you are doing what is best for you.... right now I am getting whatever is free at CVS and then all the food that we will eat (like do I really need 20 French's mustards? - no so I will just get 2-3 ) - it's overwhemling at first and then after that it's just exciting that you are getting it..... and then burnout - take a deep breath and take a few days off. I think that you will start back up - maybe miss a weeks worth of deals but then there are other weeks that you will catch up on.

Just my opinion...... hope you get over the burnout soon.

I Think that when you start couponing you get so excited that you are saving money and proud of yourself for getting the good deals.

Then you stockpile and you don't need to be in such a frenzy about shopping anymore. Remember the reason you started this was to be able to save money. You don't want to spend money just because you have the coupons.

Be proud that you are finally in a place where you can pick and choose what you need now. If you don't need some of your coupons then send them to the military or you can get some freebies to donate to a local charity.

Congradulations you are now a coupon queen!

I think we all go through burn out. That's why I don't go buy extra news papers every Sunday. I only go now when I see something to add to my stock pile. (then sometimes I regret that decision) LOL

If your stock pile is in good order... then I wouldn't worry about not catching the deal. It looks like we are going to see a lot of them.... I'd guess at least one more around labor day.

I know that I have enough HOT DOGs to start a stand. lol

We all have to determine what kind of a stockpile we need.... DH and I don't need the same amount as a family of 10, so it's a matter of household needs. I haven't actually q-shopped in a couple of weeks... I'm letting my stock dwindle down a bit, and hopefully soon, I'll be back into the spirit. Lots going on in my life so I'm grateful for what I have in my pantry...

I think our q-ing will be cyclical just like sales and q's.... hopefully they match up
