LITSA thought about you the other day big time. DH really needed the cast iron skillet. Then I saw that blank, vacant stare and realized he had no clue what I was talking about.

Afternoon all....

DH is still home sick. I am about ready to go crazy between him & the kiddos. They're just finishing up lunch here so run them outside for a good hour or two. Get some of that energy off.

Mnm'z - Did you say 36 dozen?(faints) Phew! Hope you have some helpers.

Litsa - I said a tan not a burn. I wanted to be darker not amberisk.

Nurse397 - Congrats on the one week mark. Welcome to come spring clean my house anytime if that'll help ya.

had a good day today took DD to incrediable pizza (kinda like chuckie cheese)it was double reward day so bought $5 game card and she got $10 of game play had fun ate too much and all in all it was a good day..
DH got off of work at 3:30 today and will be off tomorrow with pay which is kinda cool being he has only been at work for 2 days..

Morning everyone ~

Holy Cow! I think everything caught up to me yesterday. I fell asleep at 1 pm and took a 4 hour nap. Woke up at 5, DH had a little bit of left overs and I fell back asleep at 7 and slept all night. I was getting very cranky and needed to sleep. It's amazing how much funerals will take out of you...

Very busy at work ~ trying to fit several days of work into 2 I want to have tomorrow off, we're heading to the cottage tonight, so I won't be on tomorrow. I also have a super busy Sunday... they're trying to get me to clean 4 units... way out of my league....

Hope everyone is doing OK, what's up with you Claudia... I've missed most of it, but it sounds like your having some troubles, I hope you're OK!

Yes, Lucy, 36 DOZEN cookies, trying to feed almost 200 people some cookies, most went too.

TGIF everyone! Have lots to do and probably won't get half of it done. Need to do a little bit of shopping but I still have q's to file and I might just wait till Sunday. Lots of little things at the house to get done. I'll check in later when I've conquered some of it.

good morning.........what happened with me is I suffered a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized overnight on suicide watch. I had gone to my regular dr for an appt and asked for an anti anxiety and she asked why and I proceeded to tell her that the LL had filed eviction notice against us and the food stamps I applied for are still "processing". I couldnt stop crying. My sons unemployment ran out at the end of May and he filed for extension, the first check doesnt come until the first week in July so Junes rent was not paid. The LL filed the paperwork on June 26th. Everytime someone walked by the door I jumped, I couldnt sleep....I have been working with the HUD (Housing & Urban Development) coordinator at VA (Veterans Admin) for section 8 vouchers that would allow us to live in a place that doesnt eat up 75% of our income. Im worried about my cats. I am feeling better on some new medication and am praying the check comes soon as section 8 takes awhile and I dont want to be on the street. So thats whats going on from my totally honest propspective. Hope everyone has a great day. love, claudia
p.s. I am sorry if this is TMI, my therapist said I have nothing to be ashamed of and that I could possibly help others by sharing my story. I still feel a little nauseated having put it all out there. Thank you for the support.

Morning all....

Lots of cleaning & babying to do today as DH is still home sick. He had a full on fit yesterday when I asked him if he wanted some tea after complaining about a sore throat saying I wanted you to make me tea two days ago((sigh)).

Anyhoo, think I will try to scoot off and get out tonight, if possible, to the Taste of Chicago. See the people, enjoy the food, and check out the fireworks. It's always a good time.

mnm'z - Make sure you get a few of those cookies & I'm glad you got some sleep.

Kim - Four wheelers? That always sounds like so much fun. Enjoy.

Claudia... I sincerely hope that everything works out for you & DS with HUD & section 8. I thank you for sharing what is going on, but just wish I could help more then saying Hey I know what you're going through. Sending prayers your way.

Cboyer...I know what you are going through...last year I lost my dad, kick out finiance and lost my job....had a bad breakdown myself. two months ago I was faced with eviction also, thank god I had a friend that took me and my DD in. Still waiting for food stamps to kick in, I have the application for section 8 but haven't filled it out yet, and just started my 1st extension for unemployment. I have always said things happen for a reason and I still believe that...Just take it a day at a time...sometimes I just need to take it an hour at a time. Things will fall into place. Its seems like everything falls apart at once but eventually everything seems to fall back in place too. Try and think postive. (hugs)
