Yes I'm lurking as usual. We have out of town family visiting this week. Except for a bit of shopping and half a day at the beach not too many plans.
I spent way to much yesterday at the store, probably partly due to me not shopping much of June while I was out of town, partly due to feeding more people, and partly due to not having my freezer to the point that I can use it yet.

Heads up. We are supposed to be getting a new moderator to help me some. Not sure of the screen-name, but she was supposed to be showing up today. She does other work for Stephanie too as I understand. So maybe she will have some of the answers that I don't know.

I honestly don't have a lot to contribute so I tend to not post, but I still check in on everyone. (Many times I send PM's, IM's, or emails when I'm concerned.)

I am so happy miss nurse that you are giving up those nasty burn sticks. (Chantix is another option, but many insurance companies don't pay for it, it is a bit expensive, but would save you money in the long run.) My mom has quit several times and made a promise when she got a grand baby she would quit.....my child is 2.5 in a couple of days....mom keeps blaming my Nana, her mom, on not wanting to smoke alone when she visits.....so my mom picks those nasty smelling things back up again.

Today at 2:10pm will mark my 2 years of NOT SMOKING... June 30,2007 at 2:10pm in front of BestBuy was my last puff. I guess that is one of the best buy's you can get..and then some..

Glad to see the Angel is amoung us which I knew she was watching over us..

Oh my goodness....the last post was at 10 am. Everyone must be busy today. We're waiting to see if Indiana General Assembly passes the state budget. They have until midnight tonight. If not, many state run agencies (BMV, casinos, state parks) will be closed until they come to an agreement. We have camping reservations for tomorrow until Sunday at a State Park. Now we have to wait and listen to the news to see if we'll be going tomorrow or not. Might be a stinky holiday weekend! DS will be bummed if we can't go camping!

Wow that sounds good! Been cooking a lot here myself since we are off this week from work. I made grilled chicken again, this time marinated in the A1 chicago steakhouse marinade. I used chicken thighs and put them on the top rack of the grill, very slow, and turned off the middle burner and let them cook for about 45 min. They were so good and juicy..and the best part NO SMOKEY FIRES this time! Yay. My jello poke cake, while yummy, was purple instead of red white and blue. Oh well. If anyone makes poke cake with 2 colors and has the secret not to muddle them up, I'd appreciate any tips. Lots more work to get done yet outside, been tough with the daily thunderstorms. But so nice to be home!!

Evening all !!! Had a great day the sun finally decided to make us a visit and it was a beautiful day !!! Played outside digging in the dirt, blowing bubbles, playing hopscotch and drawing all over the driveway with sidewalk chalk. DD hardly made it through her bath she was so tired. Out cold now ...enjoying the quiet and thinking of catching up on Q clippin. Hope everyone has a good night.

Well, I finally made it. You're probably wondering where I run off to. I was at work and most of you know this. When I work I don't have time to post on here. I get up at 4 am. My commute is 40-45 minutes. Start work at 6 and work 12 hours. Tell the night person a fabricated story of what I've been doing all day (not really ). Leave work at 6:30 pm. Commute 40-45 minutes. Home 7:15. Eat and shower really fast and in bed by 8. Take "sleepy medicine" and closing eyes at 8:30. Back up at 4 am if I'm working 2 days in a row. Whew! So I'm not ignoring you guys, I'm just not thinking about you lol. So now I have one day off. Back Thursday and then 4 days off. For the nurses here, I work respiratory for the ICU mostly. It's my favorite area even though it's the most stressful.

But enough about me. Let's talk about how my babysitter is moving in 2 wks OMG! Unfortunately we are so picky that I will simply have to cut down on my hours at work. I've had 7 months of intensive coupon training and just got the new freezer. I think we'll be ok. We were so broke once that we had to eat eggs and potatos for a whole week. This new situation will be a breeze.

The Baby Rays meatloaf was yummy! Very funny kim about the meatballs and the kitchen sink. How was the doctor's Claudia?

You...were...away...overnight. And you didn't let us know? Your family. Your father and I were up all night worrying about you. No call, no text, no email, no tweet. Your father and I work very hard to give you nice things and this is the thanks we get. (working on this speech for lil'D)
