Oops. Well, at least I know we have lots of medical people here! Sorry for the mix-up, ladies. Please blame the heat and me recovering from illness.

Our heat index today is 110. That is only 10 degrees cooler than it is in Death Valley, CA. I am NOT reassured.

I was just going to say she got the wrong nurse. Our screen names are pretty close though.
As far as taking something to sleep that's not the real problem, it's just the crazy dreams. Which I should imagine will quit in a few days once my body gets used to the patch. I also work night shift so trying to sleep at night is hard sometimes when you get off schedule.

HELLO ALL BOY two nurses wow...Guess we are set when we are sick. Well I went to bed early last night so I was up early but then again I am usually up early. Watched my race today. Saw my mom..Dad had polyps removed and it caused some bleeding so that is why they admitted him and the fact they didnt want him to bleed out due to the blood thiner he was taking..he is ok though

Shyanne is doing great..Cough is almost gone. She was tapping her foot and waving her arms around when I talked with her.

Ducky...I put bbq sauce in meatloaf along with a bunch of other things when I make it..
tonight was bbq (sbray's) hickory brownsugar one..Steak with Ziti and butter...

Nerdy I use to be called Kimmie all the time and it was always my screenname til lately.

I know what you mean about working nights it is very hard to sleep I worked fri night and only slept a couple of hours on friday before work so sat and sunday has been a wash out because I've slept all day on and off on both days trying to catch up and the fact that I don't feel well today is adding to it... so what area do you work in I'm an NICU/Pedi nurse.. lisa

Been off the forum a bit...this week is our vacation (staycation) week and we spent a lot of time outdoors and slept in the camper last night. (at least the baby, my son, and I did...DD fell of the lower bunk at 2 am and she and daddy went indoors for the rest of the night) It was our "trial run" with the camper so it's good we were so "close to home" in our backyard, haha. Tonight we're rained out so I'm clipping my q's (good girl) and catching up with some deals. I did go shopping today for groceries and did really well...made me feel good since my hours have been cut and every dollar needs to be streched even more. Some good q's this week I thought, so I bought a few extra copies. Been slacking off a bit and had only gotten 1 paper the last few weeks as I get tired of piles and piles of q's. My new policy is to clip as I get them and throw what I will never use away to try to eliminate buildup. I know I'm missing out on some freebies to donate, but it keeps down some of the clutter at least.

Anyway, have a great week. We have MORE rain in store for our vacation week, of course...but it is still so NICE to be home!

Thanks nurse for the coffee, needed it this morning. Woke up at 5am to another gloomy miserable day. I know everyone has hot weather but I would seriously trade for some sun. Dropping off the DD to her father today and going to do my shopping. Not like I need anything and the deals this week aren't impressing me that much. Never did go get my glasses yesterday so thats on my list. I'll probaly be back for another cup to get my butt in gear

Hello all.. I would have been on earlier but I had to take Vicki to her Neorologist for her 6 months check-up we go back in Dec. All went well. Doctor is very proud of her and how school went this past year and all. Filled her in on the stress that her and I have to encounter that way she is well aware if need be.


Hubby is working with his dad so he is out of my hair YEAH!!!! Making homemade spagetti and meatballs.

Ducky how did the meatloaf come out with the bbq sauce? Did you like it? I am going to probably throw that in the meatballs as well considering I throw everything but the kitchen sink in it.lol
