Default This is what happens when you are unemployed and bored...

You get curious: just how many times did I buy stuff in January? How much did I spend? How much did I save?

Well, if you're me:

CVS
Transactions so far: 25 (some days I had 2 or 3 transactions)
OOP: $62.21 (keep in mind I had NO ECB's when I started shopping)
Total saved: $419.59

Plus I still have $25.00 in ECB's.

Not bad, I think.

And I noticed most of that OOP was in the first 2 weeks I started, while I was getting the system down and building ECB's.

Walgreens
Transactions: 5
OOP: $21.28
Total saved: $74.38

Still have $2.00 RR plus a $4.99 ESR coming

Publix
Transactions: 6
OOP: $74.22
Total saved: $143.83

sure beats hanging out in bars, spending your money on drinks, if there aren't any guys around to buy them for you. you could be occupying your time w/ worse activities.

I totally agree, it really hurts my feelings when I have to pay full price for something or I have to make a shopping trip where I don't save much at all...

Awesome job, nerdy, on the savings!! If you haven't already, you can start trying to figure out last year's savings and percentages! On the bright side, you've got plenty of time to plan your trips down to the smallest detail!

Been out of work since Sept 2008 ... and I know what you mean...
I started trying to loose weight and found a great site for that... and still try to get on this site at times...

I have spent $1984
Saved $1220

So almost half?
