Default a problem with couponing

I'm sitting here working on bills when I got the munchies as I usually do anytime I'm paying bills (for my household and an estate I monitor). So I get up and go to the pantry and try to decide hmmm pita chips and hummus? tortilla chips and salsa? Ritz crackers and garlic herb cheese spread? Reeces whips? There are more snacks in the house than I've had in a long time Thanks of course to using coupons and buying at very low prices. The problem is what to have that won't make my waist gain while my wallet depletes??

But alas what do my eyes see? There sit the 6 boxes of Cheerios I got to donate to charity........hmmm my cholesterol needs to be lowered, wonder if really works to lower it? So I'm sitting here killing two birds with one stone......lowering my cholesterol as I pay my bills Gotta have those crunchies!

Default Whips

Go for the whips! Chocolate and peanut butter yummmm. If nothing else the chocolate will make you forget about the pain of paying the bills. It makes everything a little better!!!!

I am trying to learn to like hummus... Any tips? Like what brand to get, or what I can put in it?

well it is an acquired taste......we ate so much when we lived in Dubai that I learned to like it I use it to dip my carrots in and those Stacy Pita chips are pretty darn good too! I use whatever is on sale.......you are right, some are stronger than others....the last one I got had pine nuts and its a little weird but if you like garlic try to find the one with extra garlic as its pretty good.

Cool, thanks, glad to know it is not just me, LOL! I will try the extra garlic one. Too bad they don't have a nacho cheese one, LOL!

Unfortunately that is a big problem with couponing for me too. I bought 20 bags of the Mauna Lau mac. nuts and $.50 a bag. We love them. I looked at the back.... 990 calories per bag!!!!! I hardly ever bought bad food until I started couponing. It was hard to pass up the free Reese Whips a while back too.

I like it with sryian bread. I get the regular kinda. I grew up eating it cause my best friend was lebanese and we made all sorts of stuff. Just have to be in the mood to eat it though. I like tabolli (sp) that is good too.
