we were laughing too hard ourselves OMG what I didn't tell is that we picked all the buggies out and I gave the leftover chicken to some friends with teen boys when I was at their house the other day my daughter called to ask what was for supper and when I told her she texted me "without bugs??" I had a hard time keeping a straight face

I don't know the shelf life......they're usually marked "use by". I think most are fine for a long time but the potency decreases. I have certain ones I buy in large bottles (Adobo, Italian, Cinnamon) and others in tiny bottles (or bulk if I can find it) like chili pepper now.

I'll usually pick up my dried spices at Dollar General, Dollar Tree or someplace like that, usually for $1.00 or 2/$1.00 depending on the spice. It's cheap enough to replace every six months or so, but Garlic only lasts a short time at my house. We eat a lot of garlic, no vamps here.
