Had to laugh at 2 of the posts. Saying you licked the chip and put it back in the bag and telling your kid that broccoli is trees. I tell my little one that broccoli is trees too! Somewhere I found a recipe for a spinach stuffing that I just kept in my brain over the years. I hate cooked spinach so it works great for me and the kids.

1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
bread crumbs (I use the canister)
mozarella or parmesan cheese

Thaw spinach. Put in pan on stove. Heat. Add bread crumbs (takes a lot because water from spinach soaks them up). Add enough cheese to melt and stick together in stuffing consistency.

I change it up and add different things like nuts or craisins. And best of all no spinach taste!

Ok... so my family has this sick sense of humor. I do too. My grand nieces didn't like anything green... salad, peas, greenbeans... nothing GREEN passed their lips ever.

One day they were over and started in with they "I don't like green... " whining. I said... "oh dear... I guess you'll grow up flat chested then" (Both of them had just gotten to the stage where they were "modeling" in front of the mirror with oranges under their shirts....) Man! I never saw peas go down so quickly... they even asked for seconds!

It must have worked because neither one of them is flat chested. LOL!

Oh yes I did!! And they love "bikini" bread too... (zuchini bread)

I'd quit making stuff special for him. If he chooses not to eat what everyone else does...in the fridge it goes and he'd get it for breakfast, cold... If he still chooses to not eat it...in the fridge... and he'd get it for lunch. Eventually he'd eat it.

My step daughter had the same problem with her oldest... he's getting better now... because his younger brother is old enough to come eat his stuff too. lol

I don't have any kids, but when we growing up my mom would tell my little brother that everything was chicken because that was all he would eat - and he believed her!
