I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week (6 miles on bike, 300 crunches{machine}, 200 rowing machine, 200 butterfly arm reps, 200 leg reps, 100 back crunches). Also eating healthier, and going to Weight Watchers. I still have two of me to kick out of myself, LOL

Default Reunion

Well, I've got the most typical goal in the book - a reunion coming up in October and I just don't feel like going unless I can lose some serious weight. I was so thin in high school. I want to lose 50 pounds in 5 months - have lost 5 so far the first 2 weeks. I am eating really healthily and getting to the point of working out 4 days per week. I need feedback - is this even a reasonable weight loss goal for someone who is 50 years old?

I'm so excited. I set a goal for myself that if I lose 25 pounds I reward myself with a new haircut (it's much needed right now) and haircolor. I need to lose way more than 25 but if I don't reward myself for doing well once in a while it's easy not to push myself. Anyway, as of Sunday morning I was at 22.5 so I've been really working hard so far this week to get there by next week! I guess I have to figure out what kind of haircut I want!

I, too, have struggled with my weight for a long time. I remember thinking I was fat in middle and high school (I'm 23) and I look at those pictures now and think, I was SO thin. (I weighed about 140 then.)

Now, at 175lbs and being only 5'3", I know that I need to take off some of the pounds, but I literally cannot bring myself to do what needs to be done.
That would be the boat that I'm paddling backward in HA.
I hate looking back at pics from a few years ago.
I know I need to do it and want to but I need to find some motivation...

Default Motivation

MRS. O - Try having a reunion to go to - that scared me straight onto my diet! I've never procrastinated so little! Maybe you could come up with an event like that.

I look back at the high school pics and see myself at 5'6" and 115 lbs. I will never be that weight again(!) but I really want to lose weight before I go. So far, I've lost 10 and want to lose 40 more. Don't know if I can do it, but I will try!!

Similar to Kate Gosselin? She has a cute doo... but it wouldn't look good on this head...

Her hair scares me. It's too Flock of Seagulls for me honestly.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a new outfit as motivation but I don't need to lose weight really aside from 5lbs. or so. What I need is the will to tone it all up. Used to be solid...now I'm pliable.

Been thinking of committing myself to a marathon. I'll have to train to run it. That should do it. Maybe help me quit smoking once & for all as well.

I'm not too crazy about her hair. I heard or read (not sure which) somebody called it a "backwards lady mullet."

I think that was in the US magazine... I read that over the holiday weekend. I don't watch the show, but the 'mom to monster' headline got me so I read the article. Now, I'm a voyeur...I want to know the hot gossip. I'm usually not like that, but every now and again somebody picks up on my radar.
