kseals, good luck! I also work from home and totally understand the temptation! I've been slicing up fruit/veggies and putting it at my desk before I start work.

Belle?! 7.5 in a week and a half? Nice! WTG!

2-7:
coffee
1 apple
1 cup raw carrots
1 small bunch of grapes
1.5 cups strawberry shredded mini wheats
3 small tacos for dinner
4 glasses iced tea, with about 1 tsp. sugar per glass

About 15 minutes of exercise, and 2 hours of housecleaning.

I think I need a new weigh scale. Yesterday I weighed myself in the morning clothed, and showed a 2 pound loss. Later in the day before a shower, I hopped on sans clothing and it showed a 5 pound weight gain. I didn't eat 7+ pounds of food in between, lol.

My scale has done the same to me too! My scale is digital and I have to stand on it twice.

Oh Marla, I hope you don't get sick.

I've been continuing to eat lots of fruits and veggies. Friday night I "burned" dinner, I was so embarassed. DH raves about my cooking so I feel like a total idiot when I screw up. So I ran to Burger King. I got 2 whopper jrs but didn't eat the buns so I didn't feel too bad about that.

Instead of going out for breakfast like we do most weekends I made breakfast.

Saturday I had plain yogurt with granola and strawberries and 2 pancakes.

Sunday I just had the granola.

So we've just been making gradual changes here and there.

First of all congrats to everyone on your accomplishments!

Okay, I have to confess today I had a cheat day! In the morning my 10 year old made me B-fast(in bed) so I didn't have the heart to reject his sunnyside up egg, 2 small pancakes, bacon and coffee.

What is really buggin me I had a gyro. for lunch. Does any one know how many calories in a gyro?

^^ Sorry, I don't know anything about Gyro's.

Remember to drink all the water you're supposed to. Some say 64 oz per day, some say 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water. Just say you weigh 150#, you should drink 75 oz of water per day. I have a hard time drinking all the water I should, and I can't drink cold water. Anyway, I have a 20 oz bottle of water by me all the time (room temp works well for me) and I do end up getting a couple of them down every day.

Water is super important to keep your internal organs functioning properly. If they work right, you're body will be more apt to loosing weight and getting rid of any toxins that are working against you. Another benefit from drinking plenty of water is your face You'll look even more fabulous with proper hydration. Keep up with a daily multi-vitamin too, you could pick them up at a Dollar Store somewhere, they work just as well. But, I've noticed if you're trying to loose weight you don't always get all the vitamins your body needs which could impede weight loss.

All of you should include how much water you're drinking daily when you post here. That is almost as important as what food and how much you eat.

2-10:
coffee
1 hot dog, 1 slice of bread
1 serving Cheerios snack mix
handful of chips
2 Fiber 1 bars
whole wheat penne, with tomato sauce and a bit of italian sausage (less than a cup total)
40 ounces of water

Only 7 minutes of exercise

Dynna, thanks, but I can feel the cold coming on. Can't really complain, I'm usually sick on and off all winter, but this is the first real cold I've had this season!

Hi everyone, missed yesterday, I was soooo sick stayed in bed all day. Much better today still didn't go to work though. Funny you mention water on diets. I have the hardest time with that, I don't just mean I make up for it with other drinks, I am hardly ever thirsty, period! Any suggestions? I've tried lemon and other things. Using a straw seems to help.
Anyway, yesterday was my third cheat day kinda hard to cheat when your sick. So i weighed today and over my 3 cheat days i managed to stay the same. I guess thats ok i would have rather not been sick and gained a few pounds. Today is supposed to be day #1 on my 3rd cycle, but, nothing tastes right. I think I'll not worry to much about today. Sounds like I'm not the only one feeling under the weather. I think a hot bath and some chicken noodle soup sound like just the ticket about right now.

Belle, the only way I can drink water is in a bottle. I just fill up a bottle of water and sip all day. I have to have it room temp or I can't drink it either. Try that! If your just not thirsty, I don't know, try talking to your doctor.
