Yeah! Good week last week-lost 3 pounds! Yesterday, I stayed away from all the super bowl parties, had a quiet eveing at home with the kids..and a homemade apple pie! Here is to another week!

Hell ladies,
I lose track of when I post..It may have been yesturday.. Anyways.. When I dont feel good I like to munch and I am getting better at that. I am having more good days then bad. but today was a bad.Just a lot of nitpicking. It was not all unhealthy stuff but it is a habit I need to break.. Marlasinger.. 15 minutes of exersise is a good thing in my book. Every step counts ! ![]() I would also have a "FREE" day here and there.. So just consider it that and move on. Some diets even encourage it. LaraFamily 20lbs to lose sounds like a good and obtainable goal to me. I need to do that 3times over ..UGH Congrats on the 3lbs. You are on your way there. Dyanna. Is it not the best feeling to put a pair of anything on and it all the sudden be loose. After losing just 7 pounds I put on a pair of pajama pants that are snug when they come out of dryer but today they too were a bit looser ! Janet How did you get alli from your doc? Did he have samples or did he give you the entire system for free? Savermom40 Just consider the superbowl your free day for the week and get back on.. My problem has always been. I have a free day then the next and and so forth..If you start a new day..Then having that free day may just help you stick to it. I know that if I had to go forever and not have some of my favorite foods I would not be able to stick to it..That has been my problem in the past. If you tell me I cant have mexican food. Well.... That will just never happen.Instead I am having it half way. I have been getting the taco Salad at chevys. It comes with everything on it. But I have a nibble of the sourcream and I dont eatthe shell because I am eating the chips and salsa..I dont walk out feeling all full like I use to but satisfied because I got the taste of mexican out of my system. Coloradosaver Congrats on your 3 pounds! That is great. is it not the best feeling! I also did not go to the supper bowl.. If I had i am sure I would have had some chips and dip etc .. By the way. I got on the scale this morning and it said I had lost 7 pounds overnight. I was like WHAT??? I moved the scale around the bathroom. Still said the same thing. So I came back later then it was right. Would that not be crazy. It was still cool to seee that number on the scale

She gave me two bottles of samples and a starter kit. I'm not following the alli diet and it says that if you don't follow the alli diet follow the weight watchers diet and that's what I'm doing. The after affects will start at 48 hrs after you started taking it. So far I've been taking it since Saturday and going good so far. I'll keep you posted. The books state for every five pounds you lose alli adds another 2-3. When I really put my mind to it I can lose 3-4 a week with weight watchers with the right combo of foods very little snacking.
I have to really watch my snacks also. I snack when I'm bored and when I'm stressed. Yesterday at work I found a bathroom stall to go in and did some aerobics for ten minutes. I did that three times yesterday and gave myself a 30 minute workout. |

It wasn't the best eating day. I ran some errands and passed by a Burger King. Croisanwiches are like kryponite. I meant to make up for it for just having raw fruits and veggies for lunch, which I did, and then was informed at the last minute there was a quickie family birthday party. So I had a bit of cake, a bit of ice cream, and then came home and made salad for dinner! Just another 15 minutes of exercise. I have lost one pound. It's progress

Hi from IL. Is anyone doing the 11day on & 3day cheat, low carb diet?
I am on my second 11day run. First run I lost 9.5 lbs. Just curious.

That is some dedication ! I did have to chuckle though...I never would have thought about excersise in a bathroom stall. I am home all day but I still never would have thought of it ! ![]() Marlasinger We all have them days! Belle I have never heard of that diet. I guess it would be a good way to knock off some pounds fast but it certainly would not amount to a lifestyle change for me and that is what I am striving for..I have done the dieting and it just does not work..Does it have a name or canI just google it?

2-3 Tally: coffee, 120 salad, 300 ham and cheese on Kroger hot dog bun cheese, crackers, baby carrots, dinner maybe 600? 1 cup hot cocoa, 120 1 small blueberry muffin, 150 Exercise: it would help if the already packed down snow didn't have that layer of ice on it for walking. I'm dying to get outside! Ten minutes exercise in the house. What I avoided: chocolate chip muffins, snacking on peanuts (I can't just eat a handful as per recommendation), Pepsi. I did drink about 60 ounces of water. I swear the more water I drink, the more parched I feel. My goal this week is to cut out pop, except on pizza night. I already don't miss it! |

naynay- The diet is one I got off the internet. Since I'm not sure about the rules here either pm me or try google. I to would agree this is not a life style change, but, I feel I have over indulged for so long that I needed to see results fast. I am very pleased sofar. Do I feel like I can maintain this for ever? Probably not. I am on the 8th day of the second cycle, only 3days left and then I can have some (the ones I want) carbs. It's the fact that I get the 3days off sorta like a reward for doing good the rest of the time, I like that. Anyway I hope getting this weight off will help me lower my blood pressure and get off the meds.
Need to get rid of : 50lbs Glad I stumbled acrosss this thread. Keep up the good work.
