As far as I know, Jewel does not double coupons. However, my Jewel does accept expired coupons up to 90 days.

Jewel does not double coupons....ever.

Dominicks is not listed here. They also rarely have good deals so not much point in listing I think.

In Chicago there are basically two games in town, Jewel and Dominicks; Anybody find better places to buy groceries in our fair city

There's always CVS & Walgreens. Lots of those in the city...moreso Walgreens but still.

If you make a trip or two out to the western suburbs you can hit up Meijer or Ultra Foods, but that's about it.

In the city, there are a few other local grocery stores. Cermak Produce (Good produce, not great prices on other things, but I have been able to get 5 lb of flour for 1.78 on a regular basis), Tony's Finer Foods (Some great sale prices), and Food 4 Less (haven't tried this one).
In the burbs there are some others like EuroFresh and Butera.

Butera still exists? Wow! I remember seeing one in the city years ago but never in the suburbs. It was replaced by a Whole Foods I believe.

What part of the suburbs are you talking about because as I've never even heard of EuroFresh?

Mostly in the Northwest Suburbs. I moved to Chicago about a year ago from McHenry County and I can think of a bunch of places out there. I know there is a EuroFresh Market in Palatine, but I'm not sure where else. I can't get their website to load to check. Butera moved out of the city but has opened up stores in the suburbs. There are stores in Elgin, Norridge, Harwood Heights, Des Plaines, Roselle, Lindenhurst, St. Charles, Naperville, South Elgin, and Algonquin. There's also Garden Fresh Market. (I forgot about this one.) They have stores 1 store in the city and stores in Wheeling, Mundelein, Northbrook, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Round Lake Beach, Naperville, and the site says one is coming to Skokie. They had one in Crystal Lake, but it's not listed on the site, so maybe it's gone now. HTH

Ok doke.

Guess I am just missing them. I also lived in the NW suburbs(Wheeling, AH, Mount Prospect, & Palatine). There was Cub Foods until it closed and Dominicks or Jewel.

I often visit my friend in Wheeling and family in Bensenville and Des Plaines and don't think I've ever seen a single Butera or Eurofresh. So weird. They're hiding from me.
