I am absolutely furious. I am also embarrassed and frustrated. I can not believe what I went through this evening at the store at 125 E. Stearns Rd., Bartlett, IL, 60103. The lady who identified herself as the "supervisor/manager" was the cause of my anger and the source of my embarrassment and frustration.
The short version is that she felt I had gotten a good enough deal by purchasing products using a number of coupons and only owing $1.17 and that it wasn't necessary for me to receive the $15 in coupons from the Proctor and Gamble promotion towards future purchases. I had to stand there and argue with her for quite some time before another employee came along and said that she would print the coupons for me.
Even when I thanked the other employee for doing this the "supervisor/manager" was still telling me I had purchased the wrong products, I can only earn the coupons by purchasing what is in the picture, it was my fault that the coupons hadn't printed, I should appreciate the favour they were doing by printing the coupons when I hadn't earned them and that "It's not my problem, it's your problem".
Excuse me – it's my problem that the computer wasn't programmed correctly? Um, no, that would be the store's problem and up to the store to correct.
At any rate, do not have this lady contact me unless it is a written apology. Actually I expect, at a minimum, a written apology. I'm not sure what else I expect; at the moment I can't think what would be appropriate to resolve this to my satisfaction.
Sincerely,
Bookmarks
