BOGO Free Ingles Question

This week Ingles has the Suddenly pasta salad BOGO free. I also have a buy 2 save .50 which will double to a dollar. I just want to ensure I'm calculating this correctly-

Each suddenly salad would ring up 1.09-instead of $2.18 since there BOGO
If I bought two that would be $2.18
and if I use my coupon then I would be paying 1.18 for two boxes?

I think I'm making it more complicated just wanted to ensure I was calculating it correctly.
