Hen House deals (no where else to post)

Okay, since there is no Hen House forum, I thought I'd post here since HyVee is the only Kansas store listed. I hope that's allowed. I wanted to pass along some savings deals at Hen House that are good through tomorrow 12/31.

Kelloggs cereal: $1.66 - $1.00Q = $.66/box
Chex mix: $1.50 - $.50Q doubled to $1.00 = $.50/bag
Roberts dip: $.99 - $.30Q doubled to $.60 = $.40/container

It looks like Kleenex will be an excellent deal on their new ad as well. It looks like they will come out to about $.56/box with coupons.

Good idea. I am also in Olathe! Small world!
I do not shop Hen House at all really, but maybe will try it soon. I just think they are too pricey.
And I work at the Hy-vee down the road, next to kohls. haha. =)
I'm going to have to shop at Price Chopper in a few months though, we are moving.

I save back my coupons 50 cents and under and look for the deals at Hen House to get items for cheap or free... plus they never give you a hard time about your coupons....

I just noticed on next weeks ad - starts 12-31!!!! Buy 2 Kelloggs cereal and get 2.00 off milk ----- It is on the Special K cereal - looks like that is not 1.66 but may be a good deal with coupons and the 2.00 off milk (any size and flavor) may have to check that out

Hi guys, I am not on the Kansas side but go to the Hen House in Lee's Summit alot. I do think alot of their prices are on the high side, but since I have been doing the coupon thing I think that when they have things on sale and I have a coupon (especially .50 & under) it is a better deal than Price Chopper or Hy-Vee. It seems like I will always find a deal or two in the store unadvertised that I have q's for.

I NEVER shopped Hen House before because of their prices, but now I scour their ad and try to get the absolute best deals. I typically end up buying a few things each week that are rock bottom prices. The double coupons really make a difference.

Thanks for the milk/Special K deal heads up. I missed that somehow. Could be well worth it with the Special K coupon I just got.

I totally agree with momofmarine. I'd love to meet you all sometime. Kansasmama, I may have met or seen you before. I shop at that HyVee fairly often and my husband worked there for years!

We should try to shop sometime. I need some more tips. I have not been doing the greatest at seperating transactions or keeping track of prices. I really should start that price book, I guess! It's kinda hard though, I really don't know what our top items will be/are.

thanks for the heads up on Hen House. I,too, don't usually shop there...usually just HyVee and Price Chopper. But, I would like to take advantage of some of the double coupons!

It might be fun to meet sometime and share tips and coupons!

Well, it sounds like we need to have a little party. I actually read on another site that I only visited once about a group here in the area that gets together every so often (maybe once a month?) and shares tips, coupons, etc. Maybe we should try it!

Greetings from the Northland. Glad to see a post on Hen House. I've found that I do limited shopping there, but will double coupons and sale items, you can catch a great deal. Holler if you ever decide to do the group shopping trip!
