    Default Hen House CSA

DH and I are looking into joining one this year - and I like the look of the Hen House CSA because you get meat as well as veggies/eggs/fruits/honey. However, I always like to get a "human" opinion before I make a committment...

So, have any of you done the Hen House CSA before?

If so, what is your opinion (pro/con) about it?

    Thanks is advance.

PS: I understand that CSAs might not be the cheapest avenue for stuff - but DH and I are foodies and I am willing to pay if the quality is better.

    Community Supported Agriculture.

Basically for $25 a week you get a couple of bags full of goodies including veggies, fruits, meats, honey, eggs, etc. from local farmers.

I've heard of farm co-ops like that, but haven't done any of them. I figure I grow the things I want (mostly) except watermelon and corn, which I get from relatives who have real farms. I don't get animals that way, but hey. So I'm afraid I'm not much help.
