Default Preview Hy-Vee & Hen House Ads Early

I apologize if you already know this, but since it was news to me, I thought I would post.

Hen House posts their weekly ad on their website on Tuesday afternoon after 4pm.

Hy-Vee's ad is available on their website on Monday if you search by the city, Austin, MN. Please note that your store may have additional sales to the one's shown in the ad.

Personally, I'm a compulsive planner, so having the ads early is nice. It allows more time to search for coupons to match the sales.

Does anyone have their plans for this week? I've got mine together, but I would love to be sure I'm not missing anything else really good so that I don't have to go out again. Thanks!

    Here's mine:

    Hen House
    Dannon Crush Cups $4/2 - (2) $1/1ip = $2/2 or $1 each
    Eggland Best Organic Brown Eggs $1.49 - $.50mq (doubled) = $.49
    Dole Baby Greens BOGO $3.99 - (2) $1/1ip = $1.99/2 or $1 each
Green Giant Baby Carrotts BOGO $1.99 = $1 each
Betty Crocker Corn Muffin Mix $1/4

    Hy-Vee
    Dole Canned Fruit $.98 - $1/3mq = $.65 a can
    White Bread $.69
Cool Whip & SF Jello Pudding = $1.59 +$.75(estimated) - $1/1 Cool Whip with pudding purchase = $1.35 for Cool Whip and pudding - is this a good deal or should I wait till closer to Easter to use this one????
    Shredded Cheese $.99

Not a thing at Price Chopper. I know they had cheap Braeburn apples $.77/lb but I'm not making another stop just for apples.

The best deal of the week is the Target Meat Deal.

I think it depends on if you need the pudding or just the cool whip. I think you can do better for cool whip.

I got my Fuji apples last week (rain check from the week before) so I'm good on apples, too.

I think we might just eat off the stock pile this week. Nothing is that enticing. And if I bring one more egg home I think DH is going to make ME into an omlet!

If it wasn't for the canned fruit at Hy-Vee, I would probably be sitting out too. I bought some coupons via ebay for the fruit because I'm tired of paying $1.00+ for canned oranges and pineapple. My kiddos are picky and will only eat either DelMonte or Dole - the others they say have too many seeds or too much rind. Ugh.

Thanks for the advice on the cool whip.

I hear you about eggs. DH keeps asking...do we really need more eggs? I say "Sure, as long as the kiddos continue to love breakfast for dinner."

I used 10 eggs on Sunday for pancakes and scrambled eggs, but now we're eating pancakes all week. I'm thinking broccoli/cheese quiche for dinner Friday. But I just HAD to get the aggs at Hen House last week. I had traded to get some .50Qs (instead of the .55 that was in our paper), so I got the Land-O-Lakes eggs for .38. Did I need them? NO, I had 2 doz in the fridge. But I held myself back and only got 2 more dozen.

Thanks guys. It does seem like the same stuff keeps going on sale. I may get some more yogurt, but we've got a ton already.

Here's my plan for the week beyond what you guys had down:

    Hen House:
    Rhondes warm-n-serve rolls were on bonus buy for $1.58 - $.75Q = $.83

    HyVee:
    Tomato sauce: $.19
    Baking mixes: $.25
White bread: $.45 (I usually like whole wheat, but it won't hurt for a backup)
and I'm kicking myself over the cheese. I bought it last week for $1.25!

    Price Chopper:
Kellogg's fruit snacks: Free with kids club coupons
    maybe buns: $.79

Shoppingsnyder, I saw the deal for the Target meat. I need a little help though. How did you get it to work exactly? My Target had it for $2.49/lb and all the packages were at least $5. Just trying to figure it out. Thanks!
