    Default Kellogg's Cereal Sale

Went to HyVee today. . . made out well

    (10) Kellogg's cereal sale $1.69ea (5q - 1.50/2)
    (1) HyVee brand cottage cheese 24oz .50 (clearance, exp 2/9/09)
    (1) HyVee brand cottage cheese 24 oz .99 (in-store q)
    (1) 5lb bag of HyVee potatoes .99 (in-store q)

Total was 11. and some odd cents. Used 4 of my own bags, saved an additional 20 cents. Then traveled over to the gas station, saved .03/gallon plus paid with cash to save an additional .05/gallon. Yeah.

I saw on another blog that Wags is having a Kellogg's cereal sale soon, something like 4/$10 with $3 RR ~ one dollar a box, but this deal is only 94 cents a box and if you look on Steph's HyVee ad, there is an additional Frosted Flakes coupon available on-line, $1/2, I think.

Nice job. I'm getting so spoiled. I don't like to spend more than about $.70 a box on cereal anymore

I was wondering what deals anyone else found this week. I didn't see much at all at any of the stores (Hen House, Price Chopper, or HyVee). A few good deals at HyVee that you didn't need coupons for, but that's about it. Good thing I've stocked up the last few weeks.

I found two great deals this week at Price Chopper.

    Blue Bunny 1.75 gallon ice cream = 2/$5 - (2)$1/1 IC = 2/$3
    St. Ives Body Wash = 2/$3 - (2)$2/1 IC = Profit $1

I walked out of PC with two ice creams and two body washes for $2.60 because they used the coupon overages on my ice cream.

Hen House Deals included Nestle Semi-Chocolate Chips $1.68 each - $.50/2 (doubled) = $1.18 per bag. And Always Save Flour for $1.58 - that is the cheapest I've seen flour in the area, $.20 less than Aldi's. Finally, Pepperidge Farm Garlic Toast for $1.97 - $1/1 = $.97.

    Have a great weekend.

May I ask which Price Chopper you used? I was very excited about your post. I printed off the St. Ives coupon. I was heading to Price Chopper later today to get the kids free popcorn anyway. When I went to use the coupons, they wouldn't let me use it because it was over the amount

For that deal I went to Santa Fe and Antioch. (87th & Antioch) There wasn't any problems - all the coupons went through.

Hope that helps. They shouldn't have a problem - all of the coupons are legit and they get reimbursed regardless. If it happens again - I'd ask for a manager.
