Hi all! I've been a wall flower so far, just gleaning information for months (sorry to be such a user, but you've all been so great so far, I didn't think I had anything to offer). Anyway, I think I finally found a scoop that hasn't been reported here, so I finally had to activate a username.
My closest HyVee (the one in Shawnee) had a major refridgerator case full of Pilsbury pie crust. They definitely over bought for the holidays and are clearing things out. The boxes are in the meat area, but close to the dairy area. They have them selling at 2 for $1.28. Yes, most of the boxes still have their buy 2 save $1 peelie coupon, so you can get pie crust for $0.14 per box (2 crusts to a box.) The crusts are freezable for a couple months (so says the box), so I'm figuring on pies, turnovers, quiche, etc for a good while. Sweet!
P.S. The HyVee in Lenexa didn't have any special price on the same pie crust, so this could be an isolated thing. But it doesn't hurt to look!
