8 pk Duracell batteries $2

Went to HEB with my mother the other day and they had Duracell Batteries for $5.9?.. They also had a B coupon for $5.00/2, I used my $3/2 and when they rang up the B q, it took off $5.9?. So after using just the B, they were BOGO free, and $3/2 I got both 8 packs for $4 for a total of $2 each. I wish I had more of those M Q's, only had one.

Awesome! I'm glad to see others are having luck at HEB. I wish there were more posts in the HEB section on this site. That way I'd know if others are having some luck, too. HEB used to be one of those places where I felt like I'd often had to settle for full price unless I had some kind of manufacturing coupon. Now it's way more fun with stackables. They aren't even hard to get. They are just printing at the register like crazy and sitting on the shelf. Even "busy" shoppers (as Stephanie Nelsen calls them) can save with them! It's worth the effort for me to stick the catalinas (the register coupons) in my organizer or in my purse to use for the next time or take the 5 seconds to get the shelf coupon to use for the same shopping trip.
It should be noted that I think saving shelf coupons might be unethical. I know saving peelies (coupons that are on the outside of products) to use for another shopping trip are. Shelf tags don't expire right away. If you look closely at the bottom you can see the time period the coupons will be up. It's always more than a week and usually there are plenty left even right before the shelf tags expire. I've even seen them expire and then more put up for another 1-2 weeks. I have taken shelf tags before, but that is before I thought taking them were unethical.
