Walgreens RR question

I have a question regarding register rewards at walgreens. I rarely shop there because of the item needed for every coupon or rr you use, so I always end up buying extra stuff that I don't need just to be able to use all of my coupons and rr. Anyway, I am trying to figure out my scenerio for tomorrows sale but I am getting myself confused. Here is the question.... If I purchase the Kotex U tomorrow and get the $3 rr, can I then use the rr to buy more kotex U and if I do, will the rr print again. I also wanted to buy the finish tabs that also have $1.50 RR but there is also a .75 q that I need to use at the same time. Here is the trouble I always get into with the extra q. I would like to purchase as many of the Kotex as possible and maybe 4 or 5 of the Finish tabs. Please help! Thanks.

Unfortunately, if you use the Kotex RR to pay for more Kotex, it will NOT print again. You would have to buy the Kotex, use the RR to put towards the Finish, and then use the Finish RR towards the Kotex, so on and so forth. It's called rolling the rewards! I know using a filler can be a pain sometimes, but if your Wags still has any Easter candy on clearance, you can probably find fillers for ~10 cents. Otherwise, there's always caramels for 35 cents. Probably some other cheapo stuff too!

Thank you I appreciate the answer. I went yesterday before I saw your reply and just tried to wing it. I did buy the finish and the kotex together in the 1st transaction. 2nd I bought finish and kotex and .99 eye shadow for my daughter's dance recital and it did reprint both RR again. I tried it a few more times and it kept on printing both even though I used the same RR to pay for them. Later on in the afternoon, my mother went and did the same but when she did it only the kotex would keep printing not the finish. Strange Huh? So now today I am going to go to a different Wags but now I am even more nervous about how to buy them. One good thing that did happen yesterday....a new Wags opened up on Saturday afternoon(24 hour store). I went there at 2 am on Sunday and RR weren't printing. They told me to come back after 7 am, I went back at 8:30 am and it still wasn't printing RR. The manager told the cashier that they would have to adjust the price for the RR. So it worked out better for me not to have to figure out RR and coupons and items purchased. They adjusted all the prices down. They only had 2 of the Finish but I was able to get 6 of the Kotex!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!

That is very strange indeed. A bug with the new registers maybe? You might want to try rolling them this time instead of pressing your luck again, otherwise you might get stuck with no RRs!

As of this morning, the Kotex RR is rolling.......have been since the Kotex RR deal started.........meaning you can buy 1, get your $3 RR, use it to buy another Kotex tampon at $3.99 and still get another $3 RR. This is VERY unusual for Walgreens but I can confirm that it is still on as of today, in my area anyway. Best of luck!!!
