    Default New Coupon Language

I was at Dollar General buying soup using Campbell's Q and was told I could only use 1 coupon because of the new user instructions on the Q.

Getting out my magnifying glass I see that it does indeed say 1 per purchase - I took this to mean 1 q for every 4 cans (40 cents on 4). The whole order being a Transaction.

Then I noticed on other coupons 1 per purchase - cannot be combined with any other coupon - Does this mean we can't use a mfg & store q on these items?

I have been in Coupon Siberia for about a month and am suddenly overwhelmed again.

Your imput & experiences would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Wendy

Chalk it up to ignorant cashier. A PURCHASE is the actual item, in this case soup. A TRANSACTION is the total items paid for. One yogurt is 1 purchase, 2 yogurts 2 purchases, add a toy and a bag of lettuce and pay for it and you have one transaction.

As for the cannot be combined with any other coupon it means any other manufacturer coupon. If you look at the Dollar General Coupon policy it clearly states that you can use a maximum of TWO coupons per item, one is a manufacturer coupon and the other is a dollar general coupon.. AS LONG AS NEITHER COUPON STATES IT IS NOT VALID WITH OTHER COUPONS. So in this case your cashier is correct =D
