Life sure has changed since I found the coupon life 8 months ago. Can't remember life without them. Went through all the "stages" but haven't got to the binder yet (prob soon). I do 3 grocery stores, plus walmart, riteaid, and CVS/BigY when I have to and it is tiring but got to the point where I am handling it well and thought I would add staples to the mix as the stockpile is pretty good and deals have been thinner (or I'm more selective maybe). So I use Cm and a local blogger in the Berkshire area, make my list and stop by Staples. I really do not know what to expect. Didn't do the research on "Staples rewards" before the shop. I had 10-12 things on the list but since it was my 1st time I just got the 3 freebies. I got 2 packs of duracell batteries, AA and AAA, I think they were a 16 and a 24 pack, and I got two reams of the paper the said was free. Felt funny at the register giving them almost $40 cash (had my battery coupons to take a couple bucks off) but not feeling so good. You know that feeling when your not sure how they are gonna get ya and keep your money right? Well, I make the purchase, throw the stuff in the back seat, careful to put the receipt and my shopping printout in my pocket, and head over to walmart to meet the wife which is why I need the binder, I cannot get the wife to stick to whats on the list, (nono that Q on my desk!!!). So almost a week goes by before I can login to staples rewards and it takes me 10-15 minutes to figure out I don't have to do anything!! They are planning to send me a check for $37.96. No hoops, catches, or gotcha's. If your already doing staples this doesn't surprise you but if your not doing staples at least once or twice a month you should give it a try!! Free batteries I am impressed!!!
