Thread: Incorrect Final Price?

    Thumbs down Incorrect Final Price?

Am I interpreting the charts incorrectly...? Here's what I found today with my Target deals...

I found on couponmom that M&Ms Easter 10-12.6oz were said to be 57% off on two bags with the following coupons: 03-18RP or 03-04RP and printable Target coupon. Their formula looked like this: Qty 2 / Sale Price $2.88 - Mfr cpn $1.00 - Store cpn $1.50 = $1.63 as the "Register Price Per Item". But then, for the "Final Price" column, it also lists $1.63. Really, it should be $3.26 as the Final Price because you had to buy 2 items for the deal to work. I know it says "All Savings Per Item" underneath "Final Price", but that's really misleading when it's the same as the "Register Price", so you think that's all you'll pay for all the items total.

This is the case with all items in which you have to buy multiples for the deals to work. Why don't they just list the REAL final price of all the items required for purchase to receive the discounts?

I'd wondered why it seemed like I was spending more than I'd set out to pay until I was examining the receipt with the couponmom listing more closely...

Sounds like you getting the hang of it. Systems can always be improved, but as long as you understand the system you are using it's all good. Maybe you should lay out your own spreadsheet as prices always differ anyway and couponmom is just a guideline (an awesome guideline but couponing has always been more art than science.
