I am looking at the following deal for Walgreens:

03-18 RP
Suave body wash 12 oz.
Get $3 in Register Rewards when you spend $10 or more on participating Suave personal care products listed here and shown in ad.
Newspaper coupon is buy 2, get 1 free. Use 2 coupons, buy 6 items, and final price after newspaper coupon and Register Reward

Printable Coupon - $.50 Off Everlasting Sunshine

Qty:6 SalesPrice:$2.00 RegisterPrice:$1.00 RegReward$3.00 with 6) FinalPrice:$0.50 75%

I have seen prices that didn't make sense before but just figured it was a typo but I think I see the flaw in this.

It appears that the savings of $2.00 from the free item was deducted from the two that were paid for at $1.00 each. This is $2.00 less then what you would actually be paying.

A simple way to look at this is that you would be paying for 4 items at $2.00 each so would pay $8.00 and would receive a $3.00 reward making the final price 6 items be $5.00 or $0.83 each.

The calculation is done correctly in the CVS deals list.
