    Default Baby Help...

Well, most of you know that I became a 1st time grammie 5 weeks ago, Lil mama and the baby have now moved in with us. I need help!

Diaper deals, formula deals, etc... I'm not sure what brand of dipes she's using at the moment, they have Elmo and Cookie Monster on them and the formula is Enfamil... I did receive the Enfamil $5/2 q and I'm sure that I'd have all the Pampers, Huggies and whatever other baby q's since I haven't clipped them out yet...

Can someone help me? Please be specific too since I haven't dealt with dipes and formula in 19 years, LOL! It's all greek to me now, a diaper isn't just a diaper it seems, LOL!

The small huggies soft packs of wipes are always on sale, sometimes clearance because they are changing the patterns on the packaging. I usually find them for $1.49, and use a .50 q in a store that doubles making them only .49! Also if your daughter is not picky about diapers, then you can always find a deal on Huggies or Pampers. Also sign up and the manufacturer’s web sites and they send you coupons like every 6 weeks! This goes for formula too!

    Good luck G-Ma!

One thing I was told by a customer service rep in toys r us is that pampers are designed for girls, and huggies for boys. We switched brands and leaks stopped =P I also like the toys r us club as you buy 10 and get one free, plus they give away alot of coupons, and often have clearance deals.

    Mike,
Where do you see the $1.49 clearance sales? I'd love to find that kind of deal.

Congrats on the new grandbaby.... I would be so excited to have a new baby in my house.

Anyways, I have seen alot of homemade dyi tutorials for baby wipes on Pinterest. Not sure if they work or even worth the effort but alot of people have posted various pages.

Consider having the mother talk to the pediatrician about changing formulas. For the first 7 months, I breastfed and formula fed my daughter. Now she at 8.5 months she is exclusively formula fed. We started on Enfamil b/c I had 2 sample cans. The pediatrician said it didn't matter which brand, but once we found one we like we should stick with it. She said generic is fine. So we tried Target (Up & Up) that is supposed to be similar to Enfamil. We have stuck with ever since we ran out of Enfamil. It's $19.99 per 40 oz (powder) can. They run sales and gift card deals every month or so. They also occasionally have coupons for Up & Up formula or any Up & Up brand products on their website.

    I know Jan, I'm shocked!!!

Hey, I have another question. Lilmama is going to be on WIC shortly, but when stores run promo's on formula and you use a WIC check to pay for it, you still get the rewards, right???
