Where are SAFEWAY coupons in MARYLAND?

I'm new...sorry if I'm missing the obvious. But I wen to coupons by state, put in Maryland, and Safeway doesn't come up. There are many Safeway's here and one 2 minutes from my house, so I REALLY need to get the deals from there.

you have to go directly to Safeway's web site. I asked for Safeway to be added to Coupon mom a year ago but hasn't happened. If you really want to use the coupon mom site try and use another state for Safeway not all the sales from another state are the same as Md but it's a big help. and then go back to the Safeway site and use the coupons you can load onto your Safeway card and most times you can double dip.

Dork (cute handle btw... why didnt I think of it!) as a new player of the coupon game you will find that coupon mom can help with alot of stuff, but that there is a definite need for additional couponing resources. I have to admit I tried googling "ad match maryland" and "coupon blog maryland", which normally would give alot of resources, but every one that I found seemed to be a dead end with a blogger who hasnt posted in a long time, or a paid site. It may be that there aren't any free sites in your area, but I find that hard to believe! I am sure there are others here from your state who have alot more information on the subject that I do, and if you get some posts under your belt (you need 5 to get private messages or PMs as they are known) they would be able to help direct you towards resources you can use.

In the mean time, the best tools will be a copy of your paper, a pen, and coupon moms data base. Start on page one, write next to every item what coupon and value of coupon they have. After that you can go to the safeway website Safeway - Groceries Online | Online Grocery Delivery and enter your zipcode. This gives you access to the stores delivery service, which gives you access to PRICING =D I like to use this tool to see if something is a good value or not, for things I need, have a coupon for, and which are not advertised deals. I find the prices are pretty close to the stores prices.

At this point decide what your "price point" should be. Do you want to save 40% or 50% as your baseline? If its 50%, for example, you would want your coupon modified price to be 50% off retail. Its that easy! Also, get familiar with the "rock bottom" price of milk, cheese, chicken breast ect in your area, so you know when there is a good stock up price. For example, out here its $1.57 for a gallon of milk, $1.67lb for boneless, skinless chicken breasts and $5 for a 32oz block of cheese (which I can modify with a real california dairy coupon down to $4.45).
